One of my favorite expansions so far, and the meta is incredibly diverse with so many viable decks.
Don’t like the excessive mana cheating on Druid, but they are counterable and not overly represented so not oppressive or an issue as such. Shaman could use some love, but I like that even for the weakest class this expansion, it is still viable at legend
Its difficult to enjoy the game in its current state since it is heavily reliant on RNG.
For example, if you try and use a specific strategy to beat an opponent, they are (in my experience) often bailed out by RNG that you simply couldn't predict or play around.
So by trying to play a specific strategy you often get punished (which is not fun).
The game has also never been complex. High skill decks just require you to wait a while and pull off a combo or something to that effect.
This is fine - I mean there is a limit to what you can do with 30 cards. But the game is so oversimplified at the moment - if it were a book it would be 'Mr Men & Little Miss' - the children's series about characters such as Mr Happy and Little Miss Sunshine - books you give your children when they are learning to read.
I'm not saying the game needs to dial up the complexity in a significant way - there are plenty of other card games which do that already. It just feels so basic that it's one step away from being an autoplay game.
I play each day to complete the quest. That's it. For me that's enough.
It's very diverse, like you see all classes represented on ladder which is a good thing but it's also very swingy at the same time which is not good.
Like one turn your opponent has nothing on board, next turn you're facing 10/10s and your board wiped, or your board permafrozen and your opponent getting 7 cards out of nowhere. And these are not combo decks that necessarily lose to aggro and play 20 minutes long games, naah these are 1-2 card common plays every game. Fix this and the game will be cool.
What makes this meta nice is that they introduced a large number of interesting cards with cool effects. Sure, there are a couple of cards that are a bit (or a lot) broken, but most of them are just strong cards when played correctly that require you to plan 1-2 turns ahead as well as 1-2 turns after sometimes. Such examples are: Lorekeeper Polkelt, various cards with the 'Spellburst' mechanic (e.g. Diligent Notetaker), Mindrender Illucia and so on...
Don't yall find the meta a bit too fast though? Rogue and Hunter and maybe DH will rush you down and the only way to beat them is to be even more aggro. The meta is too aggro.

That's because of Guardian Druid. The only reliable way of beating that deck is going full SMorc face. The meta adjusted that way and a bunch of aggro decks are all over the ladder. Even after the recent nerf they can still do pretty much the same thing but slightly slower. So, aggro is prevailing because a combo deck was the deck to beat over the first two weeks of the expansion. Also, aggro is just too efficient nowadays. DH has their infinite cycling, Rogue got 1 mana draw 5 cards, Face Hunter is still viable and so on. Bomb Control Warrior and Galakrond Priest seems to be the only options for Control players (again). There are at least 7 or more aggro decks available and they pretty much play the exact same way (ignore everything and go face). Since i despise face decks the meta sucks for me.
in terms of new additions, I am really liking the soul fragments and the study cards. Dual Class cards are super interesting, and it’s nice to be able to invest dust in two classes at the same time.
I feel like they dropped the ball on spellburst, there are not enough of them and the ones they have are rather bland. Minimal value for most of them, and they seem to largely be value centered. Not as much of a let down as reborn, but very close.
In terms of what people are playing, I am so bored with druids and paladins.
When it first came out that was the only mode I played. I got burned out and didn't touch the game for a few years. Now I only play in Wild. There are so many possibilities of decks to create and with some testing almost any deck can be viable. I've got a highlander deathrattle hunter, buff quest paladin, elemental mage. spell only mage, spell only hunter, zoo priest, and others. There are so many more decks I want to try out I feel like I'll never get bored.
Best in awhile, no deck seems overwhelming powerful, and it's still in flux. And I for one am a #YesPriest person. The #DeletePriest people are just a bunch of crybabies.

Not even Priest is able to defeat aggro, if they don't draw extremly poor. Bad times for Control and it's not because Combo Decks are running wild
I agree with you. The meta feels too swingy.

Just 10 more more ranks to Legend... I am gonna try to slay everyone with Kingsbane.

I am NOT matching against hunters every other game, so I'd say it's a very nice meta.
Best meta so far, but still waiting for nerfs to increase dust

This meta is my favorite so far (two year player here). It's diverse and fun, and wins can come from out of nowhere.
Not me
I think I would give it a B.

Druid still disgunsting overpowered, everything else is fine, good meta overall.
