Though to repeat previous comments: 1: Quests are a primary reason to play more cards 2: If you know you lost and this tilts you, concede and avoid it 3: Take the opportunity to learn what cards are in the decks so you can prepare better next time
And my favorite: sometimes when they have lethal and decide to "flex" they make a mistake I can capitalize on and potentially win.
And, no, I'm not being overly sensitive. I'm a grown-up
Clearly not, if you can't handle 10 extra seconds of someone showing their hand/progressing their daily quest they maybe you are overly sensitive and are not a grown up lol.
First off if I BM you did or do several things which are way worse imo.
1. Playing hunter
2. Roping turn one
3. Playing demon hunter. (Unless it is the control version)
4. Emote endlessly.
5. play priest for the most part. Unless you play your turns quickly then you have my respect.
other times I play extra cards is to show I had lethal in hand no matter what you did to my board. Which is just a polite move.
oh yeah and BM any Paladin deck you ever play against. (Still have PTSD from odd Paladin and secret Paladin)
THANKS viper.
So, you BM anyone who plays Paladin, Priest, DH, or Hunter (40% of the classes), or if they play a single long turn (accidentally, or purposefully)...
Has anyone seen the South Park when Cartman joins the anger management class?.. Everyone figures out why they're all so angry all the time? Automatically what I assume when I get BM'ed or read certain salt.
Tbh I don’t care about all your saying if you HAVE lethal Then do the right thing so the other person can go play another match. We all know what the decks are out in meta there is no secret either go face for the lethal or don’t play the dam game at all . If you have combo and you’re trying to pull it off go play the inkeeper you have all the time in the world.
Simple explanation, They're not douche bags. Where you look for a douche bag douche bags exist. It's called confirmation bias. Personally I play my cards out because I like to train more for automatically making correct and swift decisions. It's the same reason I always signal a turn while driving even if it should be "obvious" that am in the turn lane. Obviously people could have any number of reasons for playing out their cards, but in the end does it really matter? Honestly it's only a few seconds so it's kind of interesting that you're getting so worked up about it. I wonder what that says about you.
Thinking about what it says about you well give you more locus of control.... Constantly being frustrated because you've made up that everyone is a douche bag however will only get you more frustration.
In other words, instead of you controlling reality, you are letting reality control you, which is ironic because you actually create your own reality. If you want your focus to be on the doucheness of others... that is how your reality will occur to you. It's a choice. Until you admit to yourself that you are creating what you reap, you'll forever be dominated by your own matrix of reality that is filled with douchebags and frustration.
I think the OP is being, shall we say, a tad overly-sensitive? And I totally get playing a card or two to finish a quest. At the same time, I'm not buying the whole "just want to show off my cool combo" justification. Most players don't give a crap about your "cool" combo. As for the "I would have won regardless of what you played" stuff, that strikes me more as showing off ("I totally owned you, dude. Duh-huh, duh-huh.") than reassuring. If you feel the need to prove that you didn't get lucky, you're the one with the problem. And, to be honest, saying "I want to teach my opponent by showing him what I have in my hand" is pretty arrogant. If you're playing a spell power mage, your opponent learns nothing from finding out that you had 3 other spells you could have thrown at his face. If you think that you have some deep, profound lesson to teach your opponent, that says more about your ego than your skill.
But, as always, you have the ability to concede. When my opponent has lethal and it's obvious he knows it, I concede and move on. It's just a game.

You said it yourself, it is just a game. To be honest, the concept of poor sportsmanship is laughable in any kind of game/sport, except if someone is cheating, breaking the rules or really trying to harm others. We are grown up men, complaining about your opponent being a bit mean during a competition is only a demostration of sheer weakness and a desire to control your contender through the disapproval of others. Of course, that doesn't mean good sportsmanship shouldn't be rewarded, neither that is correct to be an asshole outside of the competition enviroment (for more than obvious reasons).

Hey man to each their own. But the reasons I listed are fair game. Plus a few more. Heck I have extended BM only to have it blow up in face. Other times I have not gone for lethal because it is a fun game going back and forth. I play this game to have fun. I play meme decks 99% of the time. Most of the classes I listed I typically stereotype and am definitely right about them and their personality. Very few people on my friends list are hunter, demon hunters, paladins or priests. Most of the time they are the saltiest players and most of the time flame you when you win against them in a close match. Druids however are typically nice people somehow lol. But again to each their own. These are my thoughts not yours. Viper.

Personally if I have reach over the top I like to show it. Its not for the purpose of BM, just showing off your hand.
Belongs in salt thread

Cute, ineffective, but cute.

Probably because OP is overreacting and most people here are fully aware of that.
