Go for it! Highlander Priest/Mage or aggro rogue (stealth with low curve and no weps) or libram paladin with conceration, are my recommendation. I tried most of these and big warror, soul dh, tempo mage and guardian druid.
Some decks I played only for a few games to get a feel for them and understand possible weaknesses. Some decks lack aoe or hard removal or are slow to a certain point. So you want to maximize on that ig you play aggro.
In the end the real attempt was easy and fast with aggro rogue. Now I can move to meme decks and wild ;) What have you been playing? Don’t give up!
I'm having the same problem but in a slightly lower tier.
I get on a winstreak (Tempo Mage, Dragon Hunter which I both thought worked pretty well), then have an even longer losing streak. Maybe I should just stick to it more, but it's so frustrating. Especially when SO MANY games are my opponent snatching them out of my hands at like the last second.
Stop switching decks. That's your problem. Make sure you have a t1-2 deck and stick with it. You will make it if you keep at it.
Yes but it’s so frustrating when you are in like a 6-7 loss streak with a deck. How can you stick to it? And for the record the deck that has got me the highest this month is a quest shaman which is not even a tier deck

Your best bet is to take a break and don't tilt. Then you will hit legend eventually.
This is normal. In fact, even the most game breaking decks on average will give you 60% win rate.
Knowing this, getting to legend is just a matter of practice and time. In theory, if your win rate is 51%, you'll get legend. In time. Just keep at it.
Take even a 5 minutes break after too many losses. Don’t worry about the end of the month, you still have time to drink a glass of water.
We all have « beliefs » regarding the matchmaking, but you may notice that even this short break will kinda change the nature of your opponents, at least for a few games. You may also notice that there are times of the day when you have a better win rate. Stick to those if you can, and like everyone else said, stick to your deck. It also helps if you trust/enjoy your deck. It may also be time to use a deck tracker and play on a computer instead of a mobile, if that’s your case. The help it provide may be enough to win the one game that your break to legend depends on. Also at D1 (sometimes earlier) you may face low-legend players playing goofy decks (I’m one, when I’m not tired of losing), so against them keep an open mind and don’t be on autopilot, they may not be playing the same 5 netdecks diamond players are (especially at this point).
The grind is hard, frustrating and there's no avoiding it annoyingly.
Annoyingly is spot on. It feels like slithering back to d4, every time, managing d3 with some momentum, and then on the brink of d2, when I coukd "smell" it, the drop. That's this month for me.
I worked out a deck, went 15-7, then a frustrating 1-6 100% nonskill losses down to d4 (boxes, t2-3 kael/guardians, etc.), so I changed the deck and dropped worse back to d5, because the opponents had different decks.
Do NOT change the deck. RNG will make you suffer, no question, but preplanning skills do matter - both to meta and RNG. I won although RNGs, although highrolls, and opponents just canNot have 100% consistency, so you'd win the bad matchups. Took a couple days off, today will slither back to glory, oh the f'ing grind.

I’m D3 now... yes D2... yes... and then back all the way to D5
D4 ok... D3 nice... almost D2 come on.... all the way back to D5 and 0 stars
Ok now I have the perfect deck go, I know the meta now come on, like this.... all the way back to D5 and no stars...
I know it goes up and down but why does it have to be all the way back from start each freaking time? It’s frustrating and demotivating.
should I give up and wait until next month?

Exact same thing happened to me too this month.
Must have made D1 5 timed then hit D5.0 again every time.
I eventually made it today with Tempo Rogue (not a full aggro variant. There is a decklist with great guide on this site. )
Don't give up and you'll do it!

If you can hit D2/D3, then you can get legend for sure. It just takes time. As others say, stick with one deck and maybe play slower.

Always expect the unexpectable!

One month I reached rank 1 , 5 stars 4 times but never got legend (old rank system). Never tried again. Too frustrating.
I had that too.
Currently D1 on wild using secret mage. Will keep trying for legend this month, just to achieve it once.

Take a walk on the wild side...
Play Gala Warlock, I lost only a couple of matches from D5 to Legend due to all the Paladins, Druids and Priests.
last game to legend I will win %90 and I lose connection in frustration searching "how to sell hs account."
it’s just normal.
D1 back to D3, D2 back to D5 and so on...Friday finally legend.
Just go on, it’s only a matter of time.
I had a streak & won 9 out of 10 matches with Highlander Priest btw.
it is called a progress gate to induce frustration and stimulate spending. The game is rigged. Don't get mad about it, just accept it.
I reached legend for the first time this month in wild. yay me !
Congratulations. You got rid of the psychological barrier.
After the first time it becomes fairly easy to get to legend.
