Priest is not fun to play against. Mindrender illucia is unfair at 2 mana and before you say its not op because you play against (bots in diamond rank alot of pros are calling out this card). 2mana destroy your opponent turn and win fatigue war is broken. Control decks are basically dead because of this card. One card win game is not healthy especially at 2 mana.Next is how priest is. They have an answer to every card you play. Its never ending and very unhealthy to play against. That is why priest is such in a bad state. Worst class ever invented #Deletepriest
I do think Priest is an utter failure of a class as well. Obviously deleting is not an option since many people have no problem with it....but I would bet a good amount of money it holds a strong lead over the next closest for most hated class in hearthstone.
What's funny is that this raw hatred for Priest seems to be completely unrelated to how well they are performing as a class. In a way this makes it even more sad and a catastrophic design failure....the class has historically been no where near OP but still universally the most hated.
Well... Actually Mindrender Illucia is literally a dead card in control matchups in addiction to the fact that you lose the fatigue war, cause your deck draws 3 times in a row. So your complain doesn't make sense in the way where you place it.

I think rogue is unfun to play against. I hate all of their cards that reduce cost and return to hand. That doesn't mean I think it should be removed from the game. Let other people have their fun.

I dislike playing against those too, don't worry, but the problem with the priest class becomes really noticeable when you play arena a lot. ;)
The problem lies in the class at its core, not in the type of decks your opponents are running when playing with it.

I basically took a break due to focusing on the better game TFT and I was so tired of ress priest xD.
I don’t mind priest in arena at all but in standard it is often painful to play against. It is not because of win rates, it is the way priest plays that is unfun to the opponent. The new tempo priest is not that bad actually! But ress priest and a little gala priest is cancer. But it is not just priest hate. Ramp druid is every bit as cacncer and my first game against infinite tortollan mage today definitely wasn’t fun either.
The playstyle is what matters. Paladin is the best right now and has a few very unfun / OP synergies but the playstyle is much more pleasant to face. Therefore people hate druid more.
In general the game is too little board centric and too much “I got my broken, unstoppable win card(s) first so I win”.
Arena is a much better experience with greater emphasis on using your tools rather than just drawing the win card.

Yeah, of course it is, but priest tools are usually very annoying and slow as f..k! Even the goddamn hero power helps a lot to make the entire match super slow (mostly because it can be used to heal your minions, not only the hero).
Having said that, I don't think the class should be deleted, that is too much! XD

Yeah, sure it is, but Blizzard should try to address this "problem" some way. It has been discussed too many times already. Although not now, there are much important things to care about at the moment and in the near future.
A win condition against priest should be run them out of 'stuff' but right now with Galakrond and other steal/Mind Control effects it becomes a game of you vs. yourself with some of the best control cards sprinkled in to take any advantage away you may have had. Even if you play Archivist Elysiana there's a chance they can steal it with Thoughtsteal or something and ruin a large portion of your win condition.
Additionally, they have extreme importance in killing their minions due to the amount of buffs and win-more cards they have when ahead at all, just like Divine SpiritInner Fire days, but less power spiky. Either give other classes more tools on the same power level or tone Priest down a little bit.

It's a fun class fo play. That being said, I just auto-concede Priest vs Priest.
The class I hate the most is DH. I refuse to ever touch that class and it's the class I most enjoy winning against.
