I disagree. “From your minions” means from among your minions that died this game. It clearly says “each gains a deathrattle”. But each does not gain a deathrattle. The card does not do what it says it does.
Sounds like you need more deathrattle minions in your deck or a deck tracker. If you only had one minion with deathrattle die, only one deathrattle effect is available for one Whelp. Gotta have enough to share man, the Whelps are greedy.
edit: a better argument is Blizzard didn't want to make it really easy for every class to shuffle 3 Prime cards in their deck. If you've recently played against Mage who got 5 or 6 Solarian Prime, you should understand the danger of copying those effects so easily and you wouldn't be bothered by the current interaction. The card does say "from your minions that died this game" (plural) so to me that automatically means I need more than one thing to die for full value.
The same way it says "died" like N'Zoth, the Corruptor and not played or summoned. Facing Psychic Scream, Polymorph, or Devolving Missiles will ruin your game plan every time but Silence does not somehow. How can you explain that? The original deathrattle never occurred that game, so how does the Whelp know what to copy?
Just another example to bring to this, today i played Dr boom ( meme only golden legendaries deck), and the only deathrattles that died in that game were his bombs , so one of the welps copied a bomb deathrattle and then the other welp also copied the bombs deathrattle.
It works very similarly to the 3 mana spell of priest, also for interest it means that if you have 2 loot horarders and a prime that died, there is a chance you get 2 loot hoarders deathrattles.
Because Necrium Apothecary relies on its Combo ability to determine its Deathrattle. When the Apothecary moves off the Battlefield gamestate, it "forgets" what Deathrattle it had, and no longer has a Deathrattle at all. So when Vectus' whelp looks for a Deathrattle minion, the Apothecary doesn't count, because it doesn't have one while it's dead/in-hand/in-deck.
I don’t have the card. So what happens if the only dead deathrattle you have is a single loot hoarder? Only one whelp gets it, and the other has no deathrattle?
if they both got the deathrattle from the same minion wouldn't they have "each gain[ed] a Deathrattle from your minions that died this game."
i agree with OP that, since they are two different minions, it would make plenty o' sense if they had they're own pool to grab from.
its not the same as raise dead or Da Undahtakahhahah.
it is also true that it could clearly be either, and pontificating could be pedantic which, in the words of M. Tyson, would be "ludicrous!"
I don't know, dude, I just read the card the way it currently works all the time. Maybe it has to do with the fact I'm not a native English speaker and only see it from my own perspective.

So I just have to let one go really neatly here. In an emergency, the card text should be read several times so that it reaches the brains of various individuals. The text clearly says that it is random. So, I hope now all clarity is gone. In any case, I will now drink an ice cream with maggots and rotten milk.

This space is intentionally blank.

Why does this not trigger from the rogue combo deathrattle card? Necrium apothecary since it does and triggers a deathrattle

Bringing up vectus not working right again. If you play him with Khadgar the other spawned welps don't have death rattles. Is this a bug?
No. Khadgar does not conjure up exact copies of the minions.
Yes u get a welp with loot hoarder deathrattle
BR wannabe?
What?
