We all know the culprits Guardian Druid, Libram Pal, Big Warrior, Special mention for Gibberling Druid!! I know it's fun and spectacular but its also mostly unfair!!! 4-5 minions on the board on turn 1 and you have 1 mana to answer that? Come on Blizz! Did they really test these cards? Huge minions by turn 4/5? Unplayable. I tried these decks, easy wins, yes, and I have never seen so many opponents just concede but is this really what HS is about? Where are they going with this?
Druid is so retarded right now. I've tried the kaelthas druid deck out and I can tell you, the only thing you're wrong about is that it is fun to play. It's 100% high roll.
Mana cheating has been part of Hearthstone for years now. It once used to be part of Druid class identity (ramping anyway). With players being able to get one or more cards from other classes, individual class identity has however been dead for quite a while now. It will all just get worse, esp. for Wild which already is pretty much Concedestone.
It is unfun, even streamers are complaining about Guardian Druid now. I think ramping is really unfair and boring for the game. However, i think the real culprit is Kael'thas Sunstrider. Every combo that has ever been available with him (like Ultimate Infestation on turn 3 in wild, or the latest Guardian combo in standard) has been unfun and frustrating. Nobody like playing these decks and nobody likes playing against these decks. I think the only real solution is to move him to hall of fame now, like they did with Baku and Genn 2 years ago. They already tried to nerf him and it didn't work. Yes, HoFing him wouldn't save wild, but at least he would be unavailable in Standard. Also, I would love to see more people playing Forest Warden Omu instead.

This is the games design ethos now. HS was always easy to access and play with a high amount of rng, but at least the games used to need some degree of thought and planning. Much like blizz did with WoW it's now just brainless fireworks show to appeal to streamers and people who like to watch pretty colours and eat glue. I've put money into the game for many years now because it has brought me a lot of enjoyment, but playing the same 3/4 OP net decks on ladder over and over just isn't fun anymore. Maybe they will save it and the new game mode will be HS 'Classic'...
We've got to the point where the game is decided by who can do the more unfair thing faster. When that happens to you, you just concede and move on, the whole "playing the game" part seems irrelevant and unnecessary now...

We haven't suddenly got to this point, it's been this way since Gadgetzan at least.
All classes cheat the mana cost one way or another to varying degree depending on which snapshot of time you look at. Like it or not, mana cheating IS Hearthstone.
I think it all really started to worsen when they introduced the recruit mechanics with the kobolds and catacombs expansion. Hunter was ruling the meta with Kathrena Winterwisp and Charged Devilsaur. The stats probably showed to Blizz that a majority of players were going for this type of deck. Nothing wrong with that except that now it has reached such a level that it is beyond ridiculous. I just hope now that they will make the right nerfs next week.

It goes way further back than Recruit. Free Patches, Quest Rogue, Jade Druid, infinite Fireball Mage, Big Priest and plenty more besides all cheating the cost of things. Cheating that cost is and always has been at the core of HS.

I like mana cheating. It helps the game to be more dynamic. I don't think that mana cheating is wrong, it also make the feeling tricky and I like it. It needs to be nerfed only when the win/rate of the deck is too high.

But it's really incomparable between classes. Basically, the more mana cheat class has, the better it performs nowadays. Take a look at meta rankings, it's no coincidence that classes with least mana cheating are at the bottom (Warlock, Schaman, Mage) and those with biggest cheats are at the top (Druid, Paladin, Demon Hunter, Hunter).
I think we have moved to a point now where the big game hunter nerf being reversed would be fine and appreciated. It is only a small thing but will at least help against the early doors 8/8s or allow you to deal with a crazy buffed minion in later turns with some mana left to deal with the other flood of hench baddies.

When I said fun in my post I meant fun for those who play these and unfun for those who play against it!
Hear hear!
