I find it quite interesting that there are several assumptions being made about me complaining or not being allowed to showcase how bonkers this first turn by my opponent was because i was playing a 'broken' deck myself.
In all honesty, it was mostly to show how insane a first turn could potentially be with this new expansion. I wasn't even mad when this happened, I was just majorly bamboozled.
Well then you should know that ever since Vanilla Hearthstone in 2014 you can have insane openers like that, the new expansion has very little to do with it. Dude was extremely lucky and probably out of hand. You lost turn 1,but if you had a card like Immolation Aura or Explosive Trap, he would have lost turn 2 so... It's all fair.
I mean, for years Lightning Bloom existed and didn't have overload. The game survived!

Bullshit.
1 - before innervate was nerfed there were no cards supplementing ability to make such board turn 1
Don't worry guys, it's on their radar. Next expansion they are printing a 3 mana 3/5 taunt, spawn a 1/1 with taunt!!!! Remember Sludge Belcher, it almost as good with 2 mana lower cost....INSANE!
Seriously though, fuck low curve deck and aggro deck highrolls. There is no player influence here. Do Blizzard even realise how busted this shit is compared to what we should be seeing turn 1 through 4? Maybe they should start printing high roll low mana board clears to potentially answer this BS...like better Lightning Storm, or AE in the style of Imp-losion ...

I have seen at least 3 ridiculous turn 1 opening hands.
I honestly believe Blizzard broke the game this time around.
Earlier today I saw a 7/7 taunt on turn 1.
now a 14/14 on full board on turn 1.
I'm sorry but this is just beyond ridiculous.
There is too many things wrong about this expansion.
the thing is, he also plays the broken druid deck. Get rekt mate
Blizzard are such MTG Fanboys, that they had to print their own little innocent but BUSTED flower card, Black Lotus anyone ?! xD
Well good thing Lightning Bloom will get nerfed soon.
How is calling someone mad, a joke?
I don't seen anything wrong with that, it's just pure skill.
New copies of gibblering really shouldnt have spellburst. I mean bloom in here is more of a problem card.
Lotus is overrated.
Yep, I'm also paying beast druid and it's an extremely consistent and strong deck so far, most of my opponents are helpless.
It's funny that the op would play that deck while complaining about a perfect opener from a worse deck.
That card is supposed to be a worse innervate/coin. The real problem is Voracious Reader which lets aggro draw 3 for 2 mana and add a 1/3 body.

Bullshit.

2 - he can easily refill with Voracious Reader
It is strange. Blizzard nerfed Druids ability to ramp by hitting wild growth, innervate and Nourish.
A year or so later Druid has: lightning bloom, breath of the wild and overgrowth.
Has happened twice to me, both times it lead to immediate concede. In both cases I had Immolation Aura and Druid conceded ;)
Excuse me, what?
Part of the reason why those cards were nerfed was that they were evergreen cards, which gave permanent design space issues.
But yeah, Druids probably have a little too much ramp now...
and again within 24 hours people already cry -_-
