Are they just making sure everyone gets a Lorekeeper Polkelt? Lots of people here seemed to open him, and one of my coworkers even opened him up haha.
I know, technically a small sample size, but still curious nonetheless =P

i feel ya brother, 98 packs and got 4 leggies :( the sour feel is real and my hype for future preorders and this expansion is definitely non existant

Advanced Hearthstone Veteran Strategy Blueprint
Step 1) Fortunetely 0 $ spend on this expansion.
Step 2) Got Archwitch Willow from the Log-in Gift, didn't really wanted her in golden I believe.
Step 3) Not cracking open packs until I know what is strong and is going to get crafted Golden.
Step 4) 8500 Gold + 12 Packs from End of Season and Quest Rewards, gonna crack open when I crafted my Goldies to avoid getting regular version.
Step 5) Didn't touch "the Mountain" (28k Dust) yet, will follow closely the first week of Meta, to know what is going to be Goldie.
Step 6) HSReplay Premium Subscription - absolutely crucial

Opened 342 packs plus free legendary and golden legendaries from bundles and got the entire set.
Golden Rattlegore, Professor Slate, Jandice Barlov, Ras Frostwhisper, and High Abbess Alura.

Pre ordered both bundles. Got Soulciologist as my free class legendary and Disciplinarian and Windspeaker as my goldens.
the 135 packs were the worst openings I’ve ever had, only five legendaries in total. Was quite glum. I then bought another 51 packs with gold and opened another 4 legendaries. None golden.
golden packs weren’t great either. Two epics no legendaries.

Missing lethal since June 2015.
I got free Ras Frostwhisper and the 2 goldens were Mozaki, Master Duelist and Doctor Krastinov.
From my ~150 packs i got a golden Turalyon, the Tenured and the rest were non-golden:
Disciplinarian Gandling,Shan'do Wildclaw,Vectus,Lorekeeper Polkelt,Keymaster Alabaster,Lord Barov,Star Student Stelina,Soulciologist Malicia,Infiltrator Lilian and Instructor Fireheart.
My only Day 1 craft was a Golden Mindrender Illucia, it just had to be in Golden, so i have 15/25 Legendaries in total.
Free Star Student Stelina and from 105 packs.... 3 legendaries, every new expansion gets worse.
In my first pack i got Archwitch Willow, good start, but then after ~40 packs Infiltrator Lilian and ~35 packs later Jandice Barov.
No more desire to buy more packs, it just doesn't pay off.
All Skill, No Luck
In the 145 packs from the pre-orders I got 30 epics (average) and 7 legendaries (slightly below average, which felt pretty bad this time as I have generally had lots of lack in past pack openings). No golden legendaries apart from the 2 given for free, only 2 golden epics (none from the 5 golden packs). From legendaries I got some good/great ones that I'm happy to own and to try in different decks (Mozaki, Master Duelist, Ras Frostwhisper, High Abbess Alura, Disciplinarian Gandling, Instructor Fireheart, Lorekeeper Polkelt), some mediocre ones that I don't see a use for them at the moment in standard (Forest Warden Omu, Professor Slate, Turalyon, the Tenured) and a bad one (Star Student Stelina). From the 15 missing ones I really hope to get Vectus. My pity timer is at 30-31 packs so let's see ;)
More than 70 packs from gold saved for months, only 2 legendarys. :(
