Is there a card you think is good that everybody else is putting down? Go against the grain and post what card you think could see play when everyone else is saying otherwise!
For me personally, I like Cutting Class. I don't think it's OP by a longshot, but I do think that the "weapon" package SA offers could make its way into a number of Rouge decks (not so much Warrior). Cards like Steeldancer and Vulpera Toxinblade look very good when paired with Hooked Scimitar. I don't see too many people talking about this, but I believe it has potential.
Krolusk Barkstripper I avoid reviews and stuff in general to be honest so people might be talking about this, but if spell hunter is a possibility this is going to be strong.
Ogremancer will definitely see play if this is at all a spellslinging meta, which it's looking like it will be.
I've seen the new weapon cards in a few popular Rogue theorycraft lists but I'm also pretty sure tempo Pirate Warrior WITHOUT Risky Skippers will use them really well. There will be a LOT of Warrior variants regarding decklists; the class has a ton of different good cards to choose from right now.
Everyone has a hard-on for Risky Skipper as well as Bladestorm but having a board presence and more weapon synergy is going to be far more important for most weapon classes in this super-swingy meta. Risky Skipper especially will have trouble fitting into SA's synergistic and burst-laden decks that don't care about a WW or two or a Rampage/Shield of Honor or Battle Rage in the process. Aggro decks will earn lethal purely off of reach, and slower decks will play really, really big stuff that will shrug off AoE.
Focus is usually on Legendaries and Janky effects in pre-release. While a few of these are always OP and end up getting nerfed(looking at you Forest Warden Omu), it's the low cost high value cards that end up having the bigger effect on the meta. Intrepid Initiate and Tour Guide are both 1 cost Neutrals that are going to see a ton of play.
My pick is Manafeeder Panthara. I don't think it's broken, but assuming a hero power roughly equals 1 damage, then it's a 4 mana 2/3 that deals 1 damage and draws a card. I think that's good enough to see inclusion in a few decks.
I also think Steward of Scrolls is interesting in that it's kind of an Azure Drake, though the elemental tag is much less value than the dragon tag. Still, I think this card has potential.
Finally, Shadowlight Scholar. Soul fragments are a positive mechanic, so if powerful enough to see play, this card will, I think, be very powerful.
Steward of Scrolls is basically an Azure Drake and in some cases better than Azure Drake. Drake was a staple long ago, so the question is...has the game evolved to a point where the power level is too high for a card like this to be relevant in Standard? Is a 4/4 body with Spell Damage that draws a card good enough? Time will tell. Seems like Spell Damage will definitely matter in some way in this meta, so I can see Spell Damage needy decks trying this out.
I agree with OP about Cutting Class and weapon tempo rogue's potential, its gonna be the first deck I try when the expansion hits.
The more I think about Tour Guide the more I like it (especially in wild, but also in standard). Its gonna be crazy good in totem shaman and it has some other applications.
IMO one of the most underrated cards is Jandice Barov. I did some research, looked at the possible highrolls and lowrolls, and it seems very good in a tempo rogue deck. Maybe even in tempo mage but Im not sure about that deck.
Pen flinger is my pick, Warlock zoo has several cheep spells to cycle it, so does demon hunter. Most Face deck list run a few spells and it would allow you to constantly sneak in that extra one damage for a lot of turns, Plus epic knife juggler synergy.
Also if someone could hook me up with that cool thing you do to get the cards to show up when you hover that would be sweet.
I would say that I'm really interested in Professor Slate and Intrepid Initiate. The former may single handedly create a new archetype of Spell Hunter. I don't think it will be top tier, but definitely something to watch out for. I will also try the Spell package in Highlander Hunter, although I still think nothing beats Rotnest Drake.
Intrepid Initiate is a card everyone somehow forgot about. Most streamers instantly said that it's trash and that's probably why everybody overlooks this card. I have a much different feeling abou it though. From the moment I first saw him, I thought that he is just a better Blazing Battlemage and maybe even Battlefiend. The class I actually see him most in is Demon Hunter, when he can be easilly followed up by Double Jump or Twin Slice to get a 3/2 on turn 2. Even better, you can play Intrepid Initiate + The Coin + Blazing Battlemage to get a total of 5/4 on turn 1. Demon Hunter approve :P

Speaker Gidra for sure, I'm amazed from the comments on this card that people don't see it's power. It's going to be in the vast majority of druid decks and even with a 2 or 3 mana spell it's a huge swing that had to be dealt with after it's probably cleared two of your minions. If you get a bigger spell then it becomes truly terrifying. It's got too much hp and I can see a 1 mana or 1 hp nerf coming later down the line.
Shield of Honor will at least be top-tier in Arena since it capitalizes on value trades so well.
Felosophy gets you more cards of what you already want to put in your deck. It may not be in hyper-aggro lists, but I think it will see some play at at least high tier 3.
Wyrm Weaver can really help turn the corner in a midrange Mage deck, especially if you get a bunch of cheap junk from a Mana Cyclone.
Draconic Studies helps activate your Dragon synergy cards and gives you a little tempo advantage. Dragons are generally somewhat slow so they can really use that mana discount I think.
Manafeeder Panthara is going to be great in Warlock and Demon Hunter aggro decks. Combo decks may try to include this over a Loot Hoarder or something, but probably switch back.
I also think Steward of Scrolls is interesting in that it's kind of an Azure Drake, though the elemental tag is much less value than the dragon tag. Still, I think this card has potential.
I think Steward will see play only in decks like Highlander Mage and maybe a Shaman deck or two to replace Scoundrel. The game is just too fast now, even if "Discover a Spell" can sometimes be even better than "Draw a card".

The problem with professor slate is what AOE does hunter have to enable it? There arent a lot of options...

Guardian Animals is a recruit card. I think recruit is easy to overlook. I practice is will probably be very strong

agree. but at first I thought of libram paladin
Im gonna run Intrepid Initiate in my tempo priest deck. With Power Word: Shield its a 3/4 on turn 1, and its also great with Power Word: Feast.
Tour Guide and new zero mana spells enables some broken tempos for masochist zoo, turn3 DarkGlare>zero mana tap> 2 mana >...
turn 4 Vulture is no longer slow.
that zero mana spell is sometimes add 2 lackeys to your hand, this wins the game early game
Nobody is talking about Robes of Protection, but I think it's going to be an infuriating card to play against, especially in the likes of Big Priest
Scholomance Academy Theorycrafts

Just scrolling through the SA cards, I see some that could see play that I don't see a lot of talk about.
Shield of Honor, Felosophy, Wyrm Weaver, Draconic Studies, and I think someone already mentioned Manafeeder Panthara.
Shield of Honor will at least be top-tier in Arena since it capitalizes on value trades so well.

Super easy just make sure you get the card name right and put [card][/card] around it

Me too! I think this is being underrated for sure.
