You get a guaranteed Legendary in the first 10 packs, right? Should I start opening my golden packs first or what are people advising?

The gold packs are not included in the pity timer, from what I understand. So it wouldn't make a difference.

 I read the same yes... If you want to assume it does work with pity timer I'd say may be open them from pack 5 - 10 (last 5 packs of pity timer). you could ofc pull a legendary before then, but I think you'd have the largest chance in those packs normally ...
