This is the most diverse set we've seen in AGES, with many strong overall cards that dont just improve one specific archetype but several, which makes predictions more difficult than usual. I'm curious as to what people think will be strong in the new expansion, i bet everyones opinions should be quite different!
MY PREDICTIONS:
I think Egg Warrior, Tempo Mage and Aggro DH will be tier 1, which should force a very fast paced meta. Aggro paladin/totem shaman wont be able to keep up, so they will switch to more midrangey variants and do ok with them, midrange is where those classes truly shine imo so im pretty happy with that.
Highlander Hunter wont be able to keep up with that pressure either, so hunters will switch to dragon or deathrattle to better fight for board early. On the control front, we will see Druid coming back with Survival of the Fittest builds, Priest as usual and Quest Lock, all other control decks can see some play but nothing thats better than the three i mentioned. Rogue cant truly suck no matter how bad the meta treats them so its all good, they will be fine..
What you guys think will be strong? Tell us your predictions!
Honestly token druid has been kinda underrated. I think something like this https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1356809-scholomancy-gibberling-token-druid could potentialy be very good. I think agrro decks will reign supreme. Every deck that has a wincondition that is later than turn 6 is unfotinately gonna be tier 2 or lower. The only control decks I see working are warlock and priest But everything else like exodia mage and combo druid can forget it.
My predictions are Agrro DH, Highlander Hunter and Murloc Paladin Tier 1
The agrro cards are just to good. Voracious Reader Will boost the most aggresive decks like DH and murloc Paladin. And Highlander hunter is just to busted. The stats on HS replay show us that.
No good anti-agrro cards have been printed as far is I know. Would have wanted a better Doomsayer or Tar Creeper
To everyone saying aggro will be top tier, I think egg warrior and tempo mage will eat them ALIVE. We have not seen so many powerful tempo cards being added together like this in a long time, i rly dont see how most aggro will keep their early board against these decks w/o playin eggs or other deathrattles, which is not something any aggro can do well.
There are so many insane 1-drops that Aggro, Tempo and Midrange are all going to have a field day and leave Control in the dust on ladder. The sheer volume of powerful 1-drops is even more impactful than Secret Passage, Glide and Voracious Reader, granted they vastly improve these cards as well. Keep in mind just how powerful Divine Favor was in comparison to these.
I'll do me one better: Control decks will see fringe play in tournaments.
Edit: regarding nerfs, Secret Passage will likely get nerfed to 2 mana, granted that just gives Rogues incentive to run Preps for it (which is brilliant as Prep is a strong thematic card). Voracious Reader will either become a 1/1 or cost 1 more. Nothing will happen to Glide; it's a somewhat clunky card that only really hurts control decks. The 1-drops are still insane but at this point the cat's out of the bag; they're not about to nerf half a dozen 1-drops.

Tier 2: Control Priest, Quest and/or Control Warlock, Tempo Rogue, Tempo Priest, Totem Shaman, Control Demon Hunter, Token Druid, Dragon Hunter
Tier 3: Murloc Pally (it was never tier 1 or even tier 2. I have no idea why there are calls for nerfs. It's only good before diamond league, and then it sucks), Exodia Mage, other meme-ish decks

Tier 1: Spell Tempo Mage, Egg Warrior, Aggressive Hunter builds, Beast Druid
I will be trying my home brew Midrange Pain DemonLock day 1 :)
:)

Murlocs will be still top tier, if devs will not nerf them.
Tier S - Soul Fragment Tempo DH & Beast HL Hunter
...
...
Rest.
Do you think that the beast package would be more appealing than the dragon package with power house cards like the Rotnest Drake?
:)

Standard: Aggro rogue will rule them all.
Wild: Even shaman will make you to do some turn 1 concedes as the new king of the format.
But Im going to try a lot of different decks on day 1, the power level is high, there is a lot of potential in new builds.
Quest mage is still busted in wild tho
Secret Passage is really strong. Could make Aggro rogue a good deck
You are totally right about quest mage, but I think even shaman will be too fast for them (especially with turn 1 7/7).
No, xcept this 5 Star Card.

tier1: Tempo Rogue, Tempo DH,Zoo( 1 drops or masochist both strong) and some sort of egg warrior
tier2: midrange warlock, beast/dragon druid, gala rogue, Totem shaman, highlander hunter, gala priest, Libram pally, highlander mage, big warrior
meme decks
Aggro Rogue and DH
Enrage Warrior
Control Warlock
Some sort of Paladin
DH will again have 60% wr and 80% popularity and will get nerfed the next day lol
one things for sure priest will be a class which isn't in tier 1. they need to buff priest and especially gala priest big time.
i expect Warlocks, demon hunters and mages to dominate

Maybe Prep is a core card to the deck anyways.
It's going to be an aggro fest.
Best guess:
Tier 1: Egg Warrior, Tempo Demon Hunter, Umo Malygos Druid, Highlander Hunter
Tier 2: Control Priest, Quest and/or Control Warlock, Tempo Rogue, Tempo Priest, Totem Shaman, Control Demon Hunter, Token Druid, Dragon Hunter
Tier 3: Murloc Pally (it was never tier 1 or even tier 2. I have no idea why there are calls for nerfs. It's only good before diamond league, and then it sucks), Exodia Mage, other meme-ish decks
