I believe that we will continue with what we can consider the 'new normal' under team 5. There will be muliple broken, unfun, non interactive decks which will require incredibly fast nerfs thus fucking over the player base who crafted decks that they expected to be able to play with.
Then shills will congratulate them on their fast action and shame players for crafting a competitive deck.
It's never a good idea to craft stuff day 1, sadly many people will do just that. I may just wait till after the emergency balance patch to craft.
Im very worried about hand disruption, history has shown us this mechanic always harms the card game in the long run.
Mindrender Illucia is broken on every spectrum. It is one thing to switch hands for 1 turn, but to force the opponent to play with your slow cards on THEIR TURN? This will wreck aggro too. Its also very easy to know when the opponent has completed their combo cuz they ALWAYS play Alextrasza on the previous turn against priest, so only combos that deal 30 dmg from hand will have a chance.
Glide at least will be bad against aggro so its more balanced in comparison, but still game winning in certain matchups.
Getting nerfed into oblivion/banned is the fate of every good hand disruption ever made, the question here is how long will it take to happen.
Which is why everyone knows glide is super broken and unfun. If mindrender is this broken, itll get nerfed too, maybe Raza as well for wild combo priest.
Idrc about what the meta will be, but I'm playing rogue no matter what. I'll even find a way to make control Rogue work. It works for me in wild, ill make it happen in standard too with some nice new removal
Apparently Gibberling can create impossible boards on turns 1-2 with the right hand, as seen in the streamers showcases. Just a sample of what will happen now that druid has the real innervate back.. rly dont know what they were thinking there, hope it gets nerfed before release, that would give a meaning to these stupid showmatches at least.
People who claim multiple busted decks, don't know a thing about how metas work. There will be no 9 busted decks. There is ALWAYS tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3. 2-3 decks are always better than the rest.
Now the thing is the set looks super powerful, but it's just in comparison to what we have now. It's a power creep at its finest, but just because so many theory decks look stronger than the current top tiers, doesn't mean we will have an abundance of strong decks on the same level.
No, we will have 2-3 top tiers and then the rest. So listing 7 decks without splitting them into tiers, like some people do here, really means nothing. It only shows that you actually CANNOT predict, what will be good.
So far no single deck jumps out to me as bRoKeN, despite some cards obviously being so. I'm pretty sure removal will be geared more towards bigger stuff rather than Zoo decks. Most decks will play lots of other reactive cards as well while still being fast themselves.

Glide will break the game and require an emergency nerf.
Innervate with 2 overload is worse than coin. Maybe it sees play in combo druid.
