Rogue, 2 mana jeeves, hunter and DH. I fear those decks will be so prevalent even day 1 that you will be forced not to experiment on the first week. Is anyone else worried or do you see hope?

You forget tempo mage will be back full force from day 1 to nerf.
With Mindrender Illucia combatting Reno Priest's weakness to combo decks and Sphere of Sapience/Lorekeeper Polkelt combatting the deck's inconsistency, I feel like that's going to be the best deck, and it'll keep aggro in its place.
2 mana one-sided Jeeves is absolutely insane. That being said it's bad in decks with any curve whatsoever; it makes decks extremely highroll. Aggro will either pop off with it early or flounder and draw multiple card draw effects or none at all.
One nice thing about a potentially aggro meta is that if the meta is very aggro, glide will be bad, which will make hyper aggro demon hunter a lot worse. So if hyper aggro is good, at least one hyper aggro list will be bad.
I'm planning to play control rogue with lots of free colossus, so bring on the aggro.
Of course, the first week will have plenty of aggro (as usual) as other people experiment with different builds. I think I'm going to try and get a lot of my ranked wins before the expansion hits. I know it's releasing very early in the month but I don't like the pressure of trying to rank up and being "forced" to play certain archetypes, especially with 135 new cards available.

Hearthstone is a turn based game where the attacker chooses what to attack. It's kinda normal for aggro to dominate. Besides, if you experienced Undertakerstone and Piratestone, then there's no reason to be concerned.

nope. doesnt have good enough boardclear vs these crazy aggro these day, esp if you run the highlander version. It is still keep anti aggro decks like control warrior in check, as it always is

Are you insane? Priest has the best board clears in the game, behind Warlock, and it takes a big highroll for aggro to compete, especially after the nerfs.

The thing is if aggro doesnt stay strong we will have some degenerate OTK stuff , wich already doesnt look hard to acomplish, and thats even more unfun/uninteractive than losing to aggro. Also buisness wise its not great to print new Legendarys, anti aggro tools , and than it all becomes useless because of one OTK or whatever unstoppable lategame stuff.
Thats why many ppl already said Priest is the worst class to be top tier , because some classes literally cant get an edge against it. If Priest is the best class , its generally speaking good vs aggro , and also by default good vs control. Only tempo decks can out tempo this.
Aggro or midrange being tier 1, gives basically every class a chance to counter that.
Every expansion, the first couple of weeks will be dominated by aggressive decks because it takes time to make a control deck to effectively counter said aggressive decks. This happens every meta after an expansion release (if the aggressive deck is actually counter able lol). The control decks need to see what the aggro lists consist of before creating a proper answer!!
Ive made a midrange Pain/DemonLock as my day 1 trial.

Shaman have all the tools needed to completely stomp aggro. Just no win condition against other control decks. Worst case scenario it will be Rock Paper Scissors

I hope so. I dont wanna get all my minions stolen by Priest.

Yeah, this expansion is very exciting but I think It’s gonna be very frustrating, more so than others.

"There is no spoon"
That's the best you can do
We will have an aggro meta till Blizz nerfs several cards, including Glide.
Just play this and you'll be fine:
..for detailed description, klick on the deck itself!
Because aggro wasnt prevalent before...

Maybe they don’t play wild
