I'm so relieved that Turalyon works the way he does after seeing the livestream. I was worried that he was just turning a large statted minion into a 3/3 but he turns it into a 3/3 before attacking so its guaranteed removal. Once i hit 1000 wins on every class i will definitely be going back to paladin.
I think everyone knew how it would work. The thing is, at least to me, it's just not an exciting card haha. Maybe if he had Divine Shield too? But I guess being 3/12 rather than 3/9 doesn't make a whole lot of difference after his first activation.
I think he could be okay... Just underwhelming and not exciting compared to other legendaries this expansion.

You will see how exciting he can be when he comes out from the deck to take out multiple enemies at a time ☺️
this card is good? best joke i ready today ha ha ha
you must be new to hearthstone, he's sticky removal who can be cheated out for 5 mana taking out every big threat for multiple turns. it's basically a must removal for your opponent. You can also get him with Commencement to give him divine shield and taunt.
Turalyon is actually pretty good, but it will only work in Duel Paladin. Paladin is my main class, so I will still craft all of its cards, but I have pretty low hopes for Duel Paladin as an archetype and Turalyon as well.

Its not a bad removal card, just like Deathwing, Mad Aspect is not a bad removal card either. Some similarities between these cards, but still would prefer Deathwing over Turalyon any day.
Turalyon simply no fit in the aggro Meta that we have right now, with broken cards like Bloom around.
In a slow Meta I would probably just run Rattlegore in CW, which seems fun in such scenario.
From what I've seen so far cards like this could be vital. A few classes have ways of cheating out some massive, scary minions. Paladin, druid and warrior can get some insane stats on the board around turn 8 and single target removal, silence or something that reduces attack and health all look to be really use. Devolving missiles has put in some great work but isn't available to all classes. There is limited silence available so cards like this coukd be key if the meta becomes about big, swing turns with huge minions.
Historically paladin removal generally comes from a combination of cards. Cards like Equality, Keeper of Uldaman, Sunkeeper Tarim, they are good but need other cards to work. This is what makes Turalyon good, you can put it in your deck without worrying about activating it and focus on your deck strategy.
He works in duel decks and in libram decks.
Whoever thought turalyon would suck probably don't play paladin.

It's a boring card to you? How does slapping divine shield on it make it exciting? That just makes it broken.
Whoever thought turalyon would suck probably don't play paladin.
Duel decks won't work. Libram decks won't want yet another card in the 8/9-mana range.
Whoever thought Tyralyon would suck, was most likely correct. He falls into the "Ysera"-category for me - a decent minion on paper, way too slow in reality.
uuugghh, surely the effect is fine, if you could actually play it and not just horribly die 5 turns earlier
maybe a couple years back it would be decent, not in today's clownstone unfortunately
If you die turn 3 I don't think it's because of the game. It's either your deck that is hyper aggro and you win or lose very quickly, or you don't play very well.
Couple years back you would actually die turn 3 to pirate warriors. Not in today's hearthstone.

As I said, being 3/12 rather than 3/9 doesn't make a whole lot of difference haha. Unless you can play him on an empty board at turn 10 and copy him with coin and Gift of Luminance. Even that feels kinda blah.
Anyways, I was just spitballing. It's definitely a boring card in an expansion full of fairly exciting legendaries haha.

The card is super bad because most decks go wide on board these days and you pay 8 mana to remove just 1 thing.
It is only good if your opponent has exactly 1 big thing on board, which a: nearly never will be the case and b: even if, its mediocre to remove something and get a 3/9 on board for 8. There are way better ways to deal with one big thing.
If you can cheat it out with duel its okay but there are better things to cheat out.
Bad card

Why does he look like Anduin?
Is it because in the timeline where this expansion takes places, Turalyon is young?
I would have given him Lifesteal or Taunt too.

I doubt he'll see play not bcoz he is a bad card. It's just that the game probably ends before he shows up.

Prepaid Card Status
Duel with that card will be fun
I could change the world, but it is not open sourced.
He's a solid removal card if the meta gets big
