Best expansion for the highest amount of salt threads and loss of players.
I'll take "AoO" for $500, Alex.
You might be right a bit... Priest - always gets salt, can be tier 218 and it still would. Druid/Shaman ramp - highroll like embdiggen, fast rise, fast fall. Paladin - still not a class, and no one cares. Warlock - finally competitive aside quest. DH - actually fair, Glide gets dumber by the day. Hunter - (pending). Meta seems to go towards tempo/midrange, meaning interactive games.
So, and I seriously ask, what (new) salt and (make believe) "i quit" players do You expect?
I agree, I like alot of the control cards, but if you've been around for many expansions, you'll know they ALWAYS reveal control cards first, and then slip in all of the super aggro cards just before release
Heh, unfortunately it's something we've seen quite often, but I have high hopes for my Handlock/Big Demonlock/Questlock. I mean, in general it seems like Warlock is getting a lot of love this expansion.
Literally we will see 80% Smorc Tempo DH on Ladder again, the newest DH cards are (as many predicted) once again way too busted over the top cancerious and mostly all Face oriented.
Since they also finally got a card that can single handedly take out Spell Druid / Aggro decks as well, there is no reason not to play Tempo Demonhunter this entire expansion.
I'm excited for it. Some of the mechanics and cards may not be that strong, but it paves way for more interesting interactions I think at least.
We still have only seen one study. I honestly think they have the potential to be the strongest of the cards in set. Discovering and lowering costs, surprised we haven't seen another one yet.

I'll say this once again; the Hearthstone community has been notoriously garbage at predicting anything. Expansion drops in about 10 days, but my man's already beyond salty. Must be fun to be you, buddy.

Playing meme decks/characters does not entitle you to call a meta bad.
From a purely conversational standpoint (I can't believe I've actually got to say that)... so far a lot of the cards, dual-class especially, seem rather mediocre. Along with that the class legendaries are super dull and also weak. Don't get me wrong, the set as an overall looks pretty interesting, but the cards themselves... I don't know... meh?
I do hope the rest of the set raises the bar a little.
Agreed, all the cards i see are mediocre AF, nothing so far is interesting, the only card that peaks my interest is the shaman/druid innervate for wild ofc, standard is unplayable as it stands. If the other half of the cards are still as boring as these ones, we'll have another stale shitty meta until december
A lot of these cards crazy so far what are you talking about
The rest of the class legendaries are either really good, interesting, or both. But as of now, the neutral legendaries are 100 times more interesting than the rest. I would've gone on about the dual-class cards too, but I lost interest halfway through.
This is a common condition known as Pre Expansion "Everything Sucks". It stems from not having any idea of card interaction and no prior knowledge of power level prior to release. Some notable symptoms are the use of words like boring, bland, and funsies. Some other signs to look out for are CAPS and stretched words like "waaaay". Waiting for all the cards to be released and seeing them in play is the best way to avoid being that guy.

The Neutral Legendarys are certainly interesting, and the DH Legendarys as well as the DH/Warlock Crossover Legendary are almost MUST craft since they are simply strong. Apart from that I dont know, man. He seems to be pretty much on point, as other classes and especially Paladin and Mage got the Shaft with their obvious Trash Legendarys.

Problem is everyone thinks a Legendary has to be Win the Game or it's Trash. I can see Mozaki finishing a game with 2 Frostbolt and a Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Oh I'm sorry, are you going to be running Rattlegore in your tier 1/2 Warrior deck? By all means, get back to me in a few months when you've had the card sitting in your collection unused the whole time. Becauseeeee that's DEFINITELY how it's going to be.
While I'm here, not once did I state that "everything sucks". "Good but boring" means exactly what it says. The card is good (I acknowledge the strength of Mozaki and such). But interesting cards they are not.
You mean like Kazakus or Aya Blackpaw? I don't that it is exceptionally innovative or influential
Tri-Class cards were very minor and more set around the theme of a crime family, not classes. Plus only 9 of them were printed and only 4 of them saw any play, mostly from the Jade side.
Meanwhile Dual-Class cards are introducing so many interesting ideas, like Mages getting combos, or Druids getting a Choose One card where they can choose to give their tokens Rush or not, at the cost of overloading. Since we’re getting so many it’ll make collecting easier since the Dual-Class cards are used in two classes, and it really opens the door for more in the future after this expansion.
After like 12 of these election cycles, all the negging about half the cards that are released if they're not IMMEDIATE top tier game winning cards that'll be seen in tier 1 or tournament decks is so irritating I can't even pretend to have patience for it anymore.
Honestly. Who cares if a card is maybe going to go into a more niche or fun deck. Who cares if Rattlegore is great in a big warrior deck, which may or may not be a top tier ladder deck. Who cares. It's reveal season, why not look for possibilities instead of just whining about every single little thing.
People are entitled to their opinions but I am SO over it. People coming in and trying to shut down every conversation anyone could possibly want to have about new cards.
The Mage/Shaman legendary is great in literally any mage deck I can think of. And the pure mage legendary enables combo Mage, while being a far more flexible card than Malygos ever was.
Like it really doesn't take much to think of how these cards COULD be good. And if not in this set, then maybe in the next one.
Already can't wait for Week 1 when all of these hopeful optimistic Threads quickly fade and turn into DH Salt galore and srsly upset people threatening to "leave Hearthstone forever" on a tl:dr Wall of Text, after spending their hard earned money on double Bundles and then some.
AHAHAHAHAHAH you're trash at the game mate KEKW i can't believe you just non ironically wrote that. Slow pally KEKW Big Warrior KEKW and a value card having tempo KEKW

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

It sounds like a lot of your issue you take up with this expansion so far is just that YOU don't find those cards compelling enough for YOU to deckbuild around. Maybe take a step back and look at the bigger picture? A Legendary that sits in two Classes has to be balanced in both of those respective Classes, and the Class-only Legendaries of this set are fairly comparable to essentially every other Hearthstone set to have released. I'd much rather have good and balanced Legendaries than wacky and polarizing Legendaries that are either shit-tier or incredibly busted and get nerfed a few weeks down the line.

Every times one hopes the skill floor will see rise. This looks promising but as always just entise to deliver the contrary.

We will see, Hooghout. Just... F..KING CALM DOWN A BIT! XD
Seriously, there is always light at the end of the tunnel! ;)
This just made my day! XD
Exercising contempt for those who manipulate is a way of live.

Why? Manipulative tactics can be used for good. There is nothing inherently evil, my dude. ;)
That's a perfect example! :P

IMO it's one of the best sets I've ever seen. I don't regret preordering \o/

Rattlegore is great in big warrior (decks with Dimensional Ripper & The Boom Reaver)
Instructor Turalyon gives slower Paladin decks some hard removal. Which they desperately want.
Jandice Barov is a good tempo card
