I've said this maybe a month or two ago but right now, Shaman may be the best balanced class in the game. There are multiple archetypes which can be built and almost every card feels like fair value...the problem is that "fair value" isn't good enough to win in this meta right now.
Even before the nerfs shaman was “fair”. Unfortunately that doesn t make the cut in todays HS. When you don t scam a 12/12 in the form of Edwin on T3, have infinite value with Gala in priest or have INSANE reach likeDH(not anymore but still) then you have no chance. Which is sad but true
I see a lot more Shaman in the meta since the nerfs indeed, Various archetypes too (Totem Shaman, Gala Evolve Shaman, while myself I play different versions of Highlander Shaman). I think the latest nerfs were the best thing that could have happened to the game. Tons of decent decks that were unplayable before because they were losing badly to Tempo DH are now part of the new meta
I'm playing highlander quest shaman but it's still not truly competitive. We need a few more good battlecries to push it to the limit. A 2-mana burst on one turn would also help.
The only problem with Shaman right now is that it's just straight up worse than other aggro decks and has no way to generate infinite value. That second part is moreso a problem with the meta overall - that generating infinite value is even a concept.
DH and rogue got nerfed and BOOM.
All the shaman archetypes have got a win rate boost.
Maybe Blizzard should learn a lesson with balancing on time instead of waiting until the last minute?

Well now Shaman finally gets a good 2 drop in the form of Transfer Student.

CRUISIN YEEEAH! CRUISIN USA!
kinda happy for shaman although it has no really viable archetype to play at all
it's just okay, sort of a jack of all trades, but it does nothing better than other classes, so why would you play it?
and yes, fair cards and classes are just not being played that much, unfortunately :(
maybe next time, shammies
Once Shaman class has stronger cards and becomes competitive in the meta, people will call it to be nerfed few weeks later...
