Old gods: turn 10 summon ragnaros, boomsday: turn 10 4 mana 14/14 stats , descent of dragons: discover dragonqueen alex or nozari is no joke. Just op.
Old gods: turn 10 summon hi'reek
Boomsday: I can have more than 30+ stats on board with a single n'zoth, two 7/7 taunts for 4 mana are pathetically weak
Descent of dragons: there are plenty of discover dragons cards in the game, none of which are played on ladder because they're not good enough
And all of these are things you can actually control. How is this random nonsense broken in any way, shape or form? Do you really think anyone on wild ladder will be like "oh yeah, I might be dead against pwar on turn 4, but I'm going to bank all on being the right board and reach turn 10 to summon a 7/7 taunt for 2 mana, imagine the value!"? Not even Trump would be that insane.
See, one of these just feels wrong. A single card of wildly varying description based on a theoretically cosmetic effect? That's not something you want to see.
But... If you added another, say, dozen cards with the same concept, then that's a whole archetype. Give them synergies, and you might have something that, if you can put it in the right shell, can be a reliable powerhouse (though, to be clear, I doubt even with synergies that it would be reliable enough to run).
This alone, on the other hand, will probably see a similar level of play to Marin the Fox, and for similar reasons.
So, when a warrior uses Dead Man's Hand, what does that actually mean in terms of flavor? Is he the dead man? Does he cut off his own hand? Is that why he has Tentacles for Arms? Does he think that tentacles are actually as good as arms?
These reasons and more are why I think warriors are more mysterious than people give them credit for.
bruh why can't people let fun cards be fun cards I'm pretty sure it's not meant for competitive play
It may be in some competitive decks as #29-30 cards and I fail to understand why some people think that this RNG is worse than something like Unidentified Maul which was played competetively
U know this seems to me like huge FY for all old leggies in older sets. Like for real only 3 board effect are kinda meh. The inspire , overkill and spare part.
This card is broken, this is like the RNG cards of RNG cards. The grand daddy king of cancer RNG. Some of these are just plain broken and not healthy at all for the game. Some of those board abilities are absurd. This crap is like the new Undertaker. Like worst case scenario this thing just ends up being a Shielded Minibot which is already a premium 2 drop.
yeah, sure. Where is the snowball effect of old Undertaker? This card is meh. Anyone who says this cards is broken is just very bad at this bad game.
Honestly I wish this card was never printed. The feature I’ve wanted the most was the ability to choose what gameboard to play on. This insures that wish will never come true since some of the boards makes this card stupidly broken. On Frozen Throne it becomes a better Arfus, and on Blackrock a discount Emperor.
The only truly bad outcomes are Meme Streets, Kobolds and Rastakhan, so its a 22/25 chance of getting some serious value for 2 mana, BUSTED. I can see this being played in most control decks, certainly all highlanders will want it.
EDIT: forgot some boards are only available in wild, but then again, all bad boards have rotated so there are only good outcomes in standard, even better.

It’s already gotten banned from use in tournaments lol

Because this card means we will never get the option to have the choice of what game boards we can play on, a feature I wanted for years. If we did, it would make this card stupidly overpowered. On its own it limits design space, but now it limits actual game features. There’s a reason why fun cards like Worldflipper or Autopecker never made it past Alpha
Question, are the solo mode matches always on a specific arena?
This seems like a good add to help f2p folks build decks and get through certain adventures.

Yea, thats why im prty sure that Transfer Student will have more value for a wild players...... simply more boards - more effects - more fun.
Unless Blizzard add a rotated boards to standart format.

It‘s a fun card and a good addition in every f2p deck. Im happy for them!
DH as opponent got Death and Decay on curve, played TS on 2. I lost that game... sure is fun.

excavation site: shuffle 2 random legendary minions into your deck.
museum: discover a spell.
goblins and gnomes: battlecry and deathrattle summon a boom bot.
yes
