Do people actually think paladin is a weak class ?? if so tell me their one fking weakness cause i swear to fuck i dont remember ever winning against them, if its aggro paladin its a miracle when game goes over 5 mana and he hasnt win yet. if its control they always seem to have answer for EVERYTHING, AND DONT EVEN FKING START ME ON THAT MURLOC PRIME FUCK.
Posts like this only help dispel the myth that there's no skill in this game. Paladin isn't exactly amazing right now and it sounds like you're getting hit by it because of something like you're not planning ahead to handle what they will bring out in the coming turns. Or you're playing a deck that just struggles against them. Paladin doesn't really do anything broken in its control focused decks. It has some good tools and every now and then may get fortunate with lady Liadrin and the librams they've played and get their hand filled with zero cost buffs, but you can still plan ahead for that.
I make sure I don't waste silences or single target removal because of the divine shield taunt and dealing with players who get greedy and dump all their librams into one minion. Silence that and I've seen them just straight up concede.
Murkic paladin is pretty strong and if they draw the nuts then sure, it's going to be difficult. It is with any good Aggro deck. They will get buffs out onto their murlocs so I try to focus as much as I can on controlling the board. I only go face if it's necessary because as soon as you lose the board you can lose the game. Their strategy is to snowball, if you can limit the minions they have then all the synergies are less effective. This can be easier said than done, especially when they draw perfectly but that's just the nature of the game. Any decent deck that gets all its best tools in the right order is in its maximum state to win, even really convuluted, hard to pull off combos can looks unfair and too easy when you see them come off. What you aren't seeing is all the games leading up to that where they didn't draw what they needed and they flopped.
What deck(s) are you using? Have you checked any sites like hsreplay to see if what you're using is countered by paladin? Are you seeing a lot of them? If so, what have you tried in terms of teaching around it? Some decks simply struggle against a certain type of deck, that's the way it goes. Anything slow and greedy will generally struggle against decks that are quick out if the blocks and hit hard from turn 2, for example.
I usually crush the libram decks with my galakrond priest. Crush might be over stating it... i have one 9mana silence and one mirror in my main deck. If i use those at the right time it hurts them pretty bad and i usually have enough tools to finish them off in the long game.
Murlocs are harder. But not oppressive (like highlander hunter)
No my friend, been a Paladin main for 3 years now and I can tell you other classes outclass Paladin by a mile UNLESS I freaking get every draw I need (Which is typical). The class is weak because it doesn't have that insane value, legendaries that generate more value / board clears, etc.
I see so many buff Paladin posts and comments but I rarely see any buff Shaman posts even though Shaman is 10x worse than Paladin. No one likes Shamans :(
I can tell you, as a Paladin main since the Old Gods, that in the current form the class is really weak. I'm talking about standard, because in wild it's not so bad, especially if you get a lucky turn in Mech or Odd archetypes. In standard tho, you have pretty much 2 "meta" decks for Paladin. Murlocs are "tier 1" going by HSreplay's statistics and that's prettty much correct. Murloc Paladin is unarguably a strong list. It gets defeated by the majority of control decks, but you can win pretty easily against stuff like Tempo Demon Hunter, Face Hunter, Spell Druid etc. There is just one disadvantage - the total lack of Paladin's identity. I mean, what's a deck that runs 20 neutral cards and just 10 class cards? It probably doesn't matter to new players or people wo don't play Paladin too often, but they are not the ones, who have complaints about the class's current state. It's us Pally mains, who don't like the deck, and literally any one of us would tell you this. Then you have a different way to play Paladin - Pure. It's a very cool deck, that many people enjoy playing. I personally like it a lot. It doesn't see as much success as Murlocs, but you can do some nice stuff like going into a long run with Priest and get outvalued after 20 minutes of struggle, or building a board with your buffs against Mage, who will play The Amazing Reno and make you ritch. Well, yeah that's the reality. Paladin has a lot of cool stuff, but if you look at the percentage of useless/meme legendaries it has, you will get amazed. Currently there are exactly 2 class legendaries, that are being played in meta decks for Paladin, and they are both from Ashes of Outland. Just check out the legendaries it has. Rise of Shadows gave us Nozari and Commander Rhyssa, where the former saw no play in any deck ever since, and the second one saw some experimentation in Saviors of Uldum's Doom in the Tomb event. Saviors of Uldum delievered us Making Mummies, which was played a bit with mech eggs, but failed, and Sir Finley of the Sands, who is a strong card in Highlander Paladin - a deck that basically cannot survive against anything now. In Descent of Dragons we got Nozdormu the Timeless and Dragonrider Talritha. I don't think I have to elaborate on these two tho. Well, as you can see, Paladin has no good legendaries from the whole Year of Dragon. Compering this with other classes, even Shaman is better.
Just the statement from OP that Pally allegedly " always have the answer for EVERYTHING " makes me question his samplesize of games playing against them.
To be honest i do pretty well against aggro and some combo decks like Druid or Priest, but actually having an " answer " all the time is an absurd claim, since Paladin definitely lacks carddraw to get reliable board clears. Sure, there is the argument of running Saleths Pride etc to cycle like a maniac, but then you cycle into what?
And to Murloc Paladin... As others mentioned any aggressive deck does usually pretty well against homebrew stuff, or inexperienced players who aren’t familiar with their, or the opponents deck/gameplan.
hey kurgo, didnt got a notice so sorry for the late reaction. yes, hunter and rogue are also sjit in wild. there is a reason nobody plays paladin in wild. at least in meta pockets ive been put in + every wild streamer i follow.
edit 2: ill be fair and explain why paladin is not considered good both otk and mech paladin in wild. mech paladin wins by making big mechs and divine favor afterwards, maybe even that 4 mana mech that triggers when you have 3 or less cards in your hand. the meta for the most is filled with warlocks that have plague of flames in combo decks or fat taunts that get in the way in cubelocks. for mage i dont know, expect to go against a quest mage be it reno or pure, they play flamewaker and just freeze your big mechs every turn untill they get a random polymorph when you have a fat taunt with divine shield in the way to block their giants, even that most likely would not be enough to block their giants+whatever is on the field. druids can use a 1 mana spell to delete your pesty mechs depending if their playing jade or not, some dont run it, you might go aggro against them and win the game. demon hunter and pirate warrior are way faster on the board while your using the 1 mana spell and 2 mana minion to buff your hand.
for the oth paladin build you have to be fast however mechathun warlock, quest mage, malygos druid and all other aggro builds that float around are way faster than you will be pulling your otk.
since around the time of 1 month with less quest mages around because people were thinking 2 extra spells nerfed open the waygate people decided that its time to tech dirty rat here and there and they can pull your auctionmaster beardo out of your hand and kill it.
Mech palladin has crystology and the small package from boomsday and hand buffs from gadgetzan and rest is neutral cards. nerf the neutral cards and there is no mech palladin.
OTK have 2 build holywrath/ or uther with reborn quest for coin synergies. and problem with this deck is lack of counterplay from opponent + paladins dont have that many board clears.
every few expansions paladin gets new cycle card for 2 mana that draws him a card and has bonus effect. paladin should have more buffs and debuffs. like 2 mana reduce a minion attack to 1. add a spell that will give that much attack to minion to your hand(for 2 mana aswell)
i would also consider buffing some of his classic cards. like lay of hands to 6 mana. or just make some spells in paladin librams synergistic.

it is in fact a weak class right now, in wild and standard.

In wild Paladin have odd, mech, pure/secrets that all have over a 50% win rate. I'm not sure about standard though, but they are doing fine in wild.

In what parallel universe is palading a weak class in wild. Or did you misspell "hunter" and "rogue".
Just the statement from OP that Pally allegedly " always have the answer for EVERYTHING " makes me question his samplesize of games playing against them.

there is a reason nobody plays paladin in wild.
at least in meta pockets ive been put in + every wild streamer i follow.
I've seen streamers playing OTK Paladin (with Uther) recently. And Mech Paladin is quite decent too I think. So Paladin is far from dead in wild...
guess your watching thijs streams Kappa
edit: you can reach legend with those 3 classes.
edit 2: ill be fair and explain why paladin is not considered good both otk and mech paladin in wild.
mech paladin wins by making big mechs and divine favor afterwards, maybe even that 4 mana mech that triggers when you have 3 or less cards in your hand.
the meta for the most is filled with warlocks that have plague of flames in combo decks or fat taunts that get in the way in cubelocks.
for mage i dont know, expect to go against a quest mage be it reno or pure, they play flamewaker and just freeze your big mechs every turn untill they get a random polymorph when you have a fat taunt with divine shield in the way to block their giants, even that most likely would not be enough to block their giants+whatever is on the field.
druids can use a 1 mana spell to delete your pesty mechs depending if their playing jade or not, some dont run it, you might go aggro against them and win the game.
demon hunter and pirate warrior are way faster on the board while your using the 1 mana spell and 2 mana minion to buff your hand.

hope this explains why paladin is bad in wild.
paladin needs a serious nerf to be honest alonside demon hunter. peace out and big up myself.
palladin in wild has 3 decks: odd mech and OTK.
ODD palladin should be nerfed in his heropower.
