I'm going to say this just as a mourning ritual for me, but also as advice for others. When standard and wild cycles began, I kept my wild legends and epics just in case I wanted to play wild, but of course as new expansions released, being an impulsive person I started disenchanting some of them, the worst of them, but then it extended to some of the good ones too. When I realized I was at a point of no return I just went all in and said to myself, let's forget about wild and focus just on standard forever. My one and only golden legendary n'zoth was lost in between this mess and I miss it. Now that I want to go back it's too late, don't do bad like me.
Good luck in wild, I feel it can be more frustrating at times but you get to play with awesome old cards. But yeah I opened golden N'zoth at the time and that was incredible, I've never gotten one again.
This is why many players say not to destroy any wild cards. Even if you don't play wild they will eventually make you want to play it either casually or competitively. I personally would never destroy a legendary one even if it was bad.
Since i hate the standard format and wanted to play mostly wild i went another route.
I‘m a f2p-player, so i was missing some cards i always wanted. So i decided i disenchant all the cards of 2 classes i pretty much never play and dislike to craft most of the cards of my favorite one. It was the best descicion i‘ve made in this game. I enjoy it much more now.
For those who want it to know: i „deleted“ paladin and shaman to craft all the relevant and fun priest cards. And no, i‘m not a brain-dead res-priest player. I do fun homebrews :P
I"m a clown to play i keep all my wild cards did 270+ arenas for ashes of outland finished that set and 90000 gold and 208000 dust it's a good day to be a HS player in my books KEKW
i played since beta so i've always loved wild and always will all the cards have a love and hate :)
I keep it simple. I play only 2 classes mainly warrior and paladin. I disenchant everything(wild) from all other classes. Neutral cards i never disenchant!
This gives me possibility to play standard with 3-4ish classes. But also wild with my 2 fixed classes.
I did this when Standard first came out, bigfwst mistake I've ever made in Hearthstone. Since then I've recrafted most of my old wild cards and haven't dusted since.

If I had to craft some of the legends. First of all is it a plausible idea given that I'm broke? And lastly Which neutral legends are the first crafts you would make to more or less be able to play?

Not judging...serious question. Isn't that extremely boring (playing so few classes)? Just curious.
I constantly see wild players don't disenchant because wild is so diverse and great. Yet the same OP decks rule that format just the same as they do in standard.
I don't regret disenchanting everything at rotation. It allows me to craft any meta deck I want which gives me a lot of variety when playing standard. Keeps it fresh.
When I started playing as a F2P just 5 months ago I was disenchanting any card I didn't find useful at the time trying to get enough dust to craft one halfway decent deck. I don't even remember all the cards I dusted, I know there were at least 3 legendaries though and one of them was Lord Jaraxxus for which I feel really bad now (even though he is still unplayable)

DAMNNN, i'm saving up dust to craft golden N'zoth (no joke) .. this hurts
And i quit standard a couple weeks ago.. sick and tired of the same decks and limiting yourself
Permanent Wild player now (i'm a bit influenced by Roffle)

Hahah I did the same too. RIP cards but I could play so many different decks, it was great. I don't regret it all and next year I will do the same.

disenchanting any card other than triplicates and beyond is a losing game
you never know when these cards become viable
That was my intention soc4real but man... I miss those cards haha
I did it too, on the bright side, i have 40k dust after crafting everything i wanted in this expansion. Im all set for this standard year.

lesson be learnt
soon you will realize how truly hard is to climb and play wild ...... and how insane can be decks and combos there

That‘s also a smart approach!

Forcing yourself to only play standard is one of the biggest mistakes you can do in this game. F

Play to win???... than patches and leeroy. Play for the experience of highs and lows in game than prop all the singleton cards like reno and kazakus
