What, you don’t like battlegrounds? How about some new bg cards or heroes? You mean to tell me you actually play this game for the deck building and mechanics and not an auto battler?
" If Blizzard truly wants to balance this game as it is, Paladin, Druid and Hunter need their own Hero Cards this upcoming expansion which generate resources on the fly or just have a wining powerful condition like Galakrond. I still don't understand why Mage received the only Hero card and left the three other heroes empty handed. I know that because of the lore Reno had to be the only one but like come on they didn't even give those classes a powerful thing to build up to... So here I am hoping to get crazy support for ALREADY existing archetypes "Cough Paladin" and more class definitive for Druid and Hunter. Paladin got these which barely get placed in F- tier "
I could not agree more on this. I thought they decided that hero cards are too impactful or smthin like that when we had DKs? and now they release heroes again but left some of the classes without them.. I actually enjoyed DKs more than Galakronds but having classes that dont have hero cards seems weird
I hope the new expansion will bring a bundle with a new Rogue hero and sneaky things and alot of shadowy thingsss,
ROGUE ROGUE AND MORE ROGUE.
But yeah, maybe a teaser next month
Haha, yeah, same here. We, main rogue players, have been waiting for a new hero skin for too long (Pirate Valeera doesn't count). :(
Facts, Valeera is a badass (maiev is crap and not even a real rogue), but i wish they did a better job for the 1000th win (non themed one)
I feel the same, but for god's sake, can we just have a decent Druid alternate hero? Lunara is retcon (I hate her) and the eerie-looking tree is horrible. Elise Starseeker is the only decent one, but she is not original of WoW (now she exists in wow, but was created in HS first). I'm still waiting for Hamuul Runetotem.
As for the other classes, I hope for:
Mage: Aegwynn or Prince Kael'Thas Warrior: Varian Wrynn or Cairne Bloodhoof Warlock: Cho'gall Shaman: Ner'zhul or Drek'thar Rogue: Tess Greymane or Garona Halforcen Demon Hunter: Izal Whitemoon

Well I really hope there won't be any delays. I have completely stopped playing HS (don't like the state of the meta now) and I can't wait to see what Blizz has concocted for this new expansion. According to their roadmap, there will be some major changes: A new game mode, "spell locked" feature?!? Balance updates and of course the new expansion with new mechanics. I hope that they will drop the mecha'thun/Malygos combo style of play, the infinite value cards or heroes.

Okay, people seem to have a lot of trouble with this... They can not just remove an archetype... You need Control to keep aggro in check, you need combo to keep control in check, and you need aggro to keep combo in check... That is how the game will always work.
Would you really like a meta of Res Priest vs Freeze Mage, and mirror matches??
Same with everyone who wants rid of the "brainless aggro" decks.... Great... A meta of whoever gets their combo pieces first... Fun.
Those decks you hate... They're there for a reason... They counter the decks you love, so that the stupid deck you love isn't the only playable deck.
I can't wait to see new dh cards which will entirely destroy the meta either in wild or standard.
Really wish they'd built a class from the ground up as a control one but goodness knows designing a face class is a ton easier. Oh well.
I do hope they'll give libram paladin more ammo, it's really this close to being somewhat decent. Knowing blizzard they'll just introduce a brand new mechanic/theme for paladin that doesn't in any way shape or form coexist or work along with previous ones. And they'll split the expansion cards half with a new stupid underpowered theme and the other with sodding murlocs which are identity class for some unbeknownst reason.
It'd also be nice to see something to get shaman beyond dumpster tier but I'm less keen on that, when shaman is given an inch it'll take the distance from Earth to the Moon and dominate the meta with it; and we certainly can't trust a dev team that "playtested" dh so well they had to nerf it more than a dozen times a month and a half past release, to be able to do anything resembling "balancing".
what do you guys think the "spell lock" event would be ??
They can do anything, like a special TB, arena event or a stream, and say "look that's the spell lock event". I don't think it is going to be anything big.

i'd just like to see a sea or underwater themed expanison, like vashj'ir (but plz ffs no pirates)
or anything from pandaria, just some asian themed stuff
Fortunetely farmed enough Gold this time around, 5300 as of right now, so probably around ~7500 when the Expansion hits.
Expect more ridicolous DH cards.
All of the Paladin cards will be dragon/murloc support without dragon or murloc tribe tags.
A weapon that if you hit face it also destroys all enemy minions
9 mana, 0 atk, 2 durability...
Illidan: 9 Mana, 8/10 Charge - Silence all Minions
Sargeras'S Avatar - 10 Mana, Destroy all creature on board, Equipe a 5/3 Ember Wipe and summon a 5/5 Hand of Sargeras.
About the theme, I reeeally want a dark expansion like Witchwood or KoFT. Not expecting that though, since Blizz will do a three-expansion story.
No story this year. They might do it again in the future.

Vendellin Soulfire as Warlock would be great too.

They definitely need more 1-cost DH spells. Cobalt Spellkin is too focused for that class.
2 July and no announce.
