I couldn't think of a worse way to spend your time than watching drivel like that on youtube.....if you think that's entertainment you should go to the local gas station and see the kids trying to do simple math to give you back change when the cash register is down....must be that youtube education they get today........youtube is filled with the worlds downtrodden and lost...my advice is to not come here and cry about it just turn the garbage off and stop wasting your life watching trash.
You don't like watching product, then getting excited for next product? On a serious note, I legitimately enjoy watching hearthstone videos more than playing myself. Aside from highlights and editing I enjoy watching interactions with cards I don't have in my collection, and also getting inspiration for building my own decks. The game itself works really well for video and stream content, since the game basically plays itself and reacting alongside content creators and chat is great.
Kripparrian has been playing almost only Battlegrounds non-stop for so long that I don't even remember when the last time I watched one of his Youtube videos was. I'm not saying he should stop playing this game mode forever, but every once in a while some variety would be appreciated. I had a similar reaction when Noxious stopped playing Hearthstone. Yeah, MtG: Arena is a great game, but I don't like his Youtube videos about it. I was a huge fan of Noxious and he used to be by far one of my favorite Hearthstone streamers. :(
Has this ever happened to you? Has a Hearthstone streamer changed its content so much you no longer watch it?
DUDE! I was a great Noxious fan during his HS prowess and I used to love Avril xD Cheers! I completely agree with the notion.
Haha, I used to like Avril Lavigne a lot! I even went to a concert of her with my little sister and a friend, here in Argentina. It was great! :)

I'm with you. I used to watch Kripp's BG video but the issues were 1) really don't like the game mode 2) It's basically the same choices over and over.
But the streamer i miss the most is Disguised Toast. I really loved his video about strange interactions and "find the lethal/missplay".
I also used to watch Thijs and i really liked his positive attitude towards the game.
Fully agree with you on your second point. Yeah, same choices over and over... :(
I'm curious what people like about Disguised Toast? Besides when he used to do meme decks. He always came off as high off of his own smugness to me even by streamer standards and I can't stand that.
He can't be the first person you've seen with bad social skills. It's not a surprising thing from nerds that spend most of their lives playing video games. A lot of people like Brian. He's happily married and definitely has other activities in his life but still comes off a frustrated douche sometimes.
I'm both gamer(dont put in the hours like i used to...*shakes walker like Cranky Kong*) and athlete. I've seen it all. Self awareness isn't something a lot of people have.
Damn, I hate when people talk about social skills like that. It is highly discriminatory against those who struggle every day just because it's extremely hard for them to go with the flow. It's not their choice, but isn't that pretty obvious? Did you know many out there commit suicide every day just because of that? An old highschool classmate of a relative ended her life for that reason a few months ago, she even left a letter and all that stuff... I never met her, unfortunately (maybe I could have helped her, I don't know...). Sad as f...k, dude! :(
I miss day9 and Noxious. I remember when they used to invite day9 as the big reveal guest for a new expansion, he was a great personality.
Every time there was a new expansion he would try desperately to get ramp druid to work and it would always fall apart. Shame because recently ramp druid has probably been at it's most viable for a long long time. I can understand why they left though, they just were not enjoying the metas any more, especially noxious. I was glad when he left hearthstone as you could see how soul destroying he was finding hearthstone. He switched game and was back to enjoying himself again.
Yes this happened to me with Kripp exaxtly :( I watched his videos since I started playing Hearthstone back in 2015 and I loved all of it. He got me into getting good at arena. Just a few weeks ago I finally unsubbed to him cause there is no need to be subscribed anymore. Sure his personality is still the same and everything and I hope he enjoys playing Battlegrounds but I'm gonna miss that guy a lot, have gotten used to it tho. Nowadays I watch Solem and some of Trumps content

Seriously, I learned so many things about arena from him. Seems like it's time to say goodbye to Old Vegan Sensei Kripparrian! :P

One of the main reasons I decided to start studying Video Game Development years ago was Day9. Don't know if the f..king bastard is fully aware of how much influence he has over people. :P
I guess it is some kind of a curse of wealth. There is no greatest way - people DO want to see BG coz they are amazing. On the other hand Kripp's roots are way different.
I got to say: while I surely slowed down with HS gameplay, if I play it goes like this BG-->arena----->ranked------------->farming legend

If what you say is true (not saying you're lying, but you know, this is the internet after all...) then congratz! Never been able to do something as cool as to farm in legend, but I'm fully aware there is some people out there who is very good at it.
QFT. ;)

Choose your words carefully, please.

I can't get through a Kripparian video, because I can't stand that he constantly says "Herthstone." It's a little thing, but it grates on me.
Ok... XD
Was a nice nostalgic topic. Anyone else left since? I miss RDU also. He played GMs but he doesn't stream or seem to care about ladder.
