Neviilz was the best Hearthstone streamer and he's gone. Period.
Never heard of him until now, haha, sorry. :P
So many interesting people seem to have contributed to this community with their grain of salt XD and so many of them already left it a long time ago... Damn, time goes fast! :(
Personally, I will never forget Lifecoach either, also known as Ropecoach. XD

Nozdormu misses Lifecoach more than you do, trust me.

I used to watch Kripp arena gameplay daily on youtube, nowadays I rarely watch him at all. I also used to watch Kibler on a daily basis when his videos were 20+ min long. The only HS streamers I watch atm are Roffle and Dane, both wild players :)

"I might not go down in history, but I'd definitely go down on your sister!"
So long as Dane is alive and well, I don't really care about anyone else honestly. I still watch Trump because idk, I can't help liking him.
I do miss Totalbiscuit's hs content but in truth, I just miss the man and all of his content. Still, I did discover hs thanks to his vids so there's that too...life sucks.

Noxious is probably the only person who's left HS I really missed. The background is that I am not really a "streams guy". I don't watch streams, if I ever do, it's mostly out of simply not having anything better to watch and even then it's rather something to just go on in the background - I do watch tournaments though. I don't think I've ever had any stream (apart from tournaments) opened as my main point of focus. So watching ANYONE was actually a big deal for me - Noxious was the only one I really watched. He had a great personality and this magnificent ability to have crazy stuff happen to him. His BGH video is legendary enough, so even I - who is pretty much ignorant regarding the streaming and youtube side of Hearthstone - have seen it before knowing, who Noxious was.
Then there were his "HS history" videos - really great stuff. Much time has passed and there were plenty of changes the videos don't cover now, but it's always a good watch, if you want to know the very beginnings of the game. I watched the videos, liked the guy, jumped to the stream and liked the guy even more. Such a great personality.
Apart from him I don't care about anyone, who left or not.
Just watch RegisKilbin, Dekkster and Trump (for New Expansions Card Ratings) at least they remain loyal to Hearthstone.
As somebody mentioned Kripp plays what gets his bills paid, as he is sponsored, so he would even go out of his way and play Fortnite 24/7 if thats what they tell him to do...
but you know who I miss the most for Hearthstone? Disguised Toast...
Yeah toast is a really entertaining content creator. He seemed to pop back very briefly before going again. It is a shame (for me, I assume he's having a good time) because I'm not interested in the game he plays and so there's no point watching.

None of Kripp's regular HS streams are sponsored, Blizzard doesn't sponsor anyone for regular streams. How often do they actually sponsor streams like Kripp's? Once a month? Once every 2 months? Also, his sponsorship incomes are peanuts compared to his Twitch/Youtube revenue.
Kripparrian has been playing almost only Battlegrounds non-stop for so long that I don't even remember when the last time I watched one of his Youtube videos was. I'm not saying he should stop playing this game mode forever, but every once in a while some variety would be appreciated. I had a similar reaction when Noxious stopped playing Hearthstone. Yeah, MtG: Arena is a great game, but I don't like his Youtube videos about it. I was a huge fan of Noxious and he used to be by far one of my favorite Hearthstone streamers. :(
Has this ever happened to you? Has a Hearthstone streamer changed its content so much you no longer watch it?
i know what you mean. i watched Kripp pretty regularly back when he was playing arena. i also watched other guys like Warshack or Thjis pretty frequently. i can understand that Kripp only plays the modes that are fun for him.
hearthstone has changed. i haven't really played it so far this year, maybe that's why i don't follow these creators anymore. but also the views on their videos are dropping.. hearthstone is dying slowly and i'm wishing back the 2014 times of playing this game.

Dekkster is nice, but the game isn't anymore. hearthstone is boring. RegisKilbin turned into an unbearable blizzard shill since he got partnered.
i used to watch Control play wild a lot. but he hasn't uploaded HS gameplay for over a month. i wonder why....lol

What kind of games does he play now?
Auto battle stuff I believe. That team fight tactics game (I think it's called that) seems to be his main focus. Every few months I'll have a look up of his channel to see if he's done any HS content and that seems to be all he plays. I'm never going to play it so I just don't watch. Funny guy though and one who would step outside of the norm just to have a laugh.
Dekkster is very good, he's pretty chill but funny. My favourite creatir is Old Guardian, he doesn't get all hyper and whacky and he breaks down his thought process really well, creates budget decks and guides as well as videos of off meta decks and best decks to climb with etc. He really should have a bigger following than he does, I suspect it's the lack of over the top, crazy stuff that affects that though. The kids in stream seem to love that sort of thing rather than mature, calm conversation and strategy explanation.
Regis is ok but seems very much led by sponsor activity and is very sub focussed. It's totally fine and I get he is trying to make a living but I think his older videos, where he wasn't quite so big were just better and less pandering towards subs and sponsors.

Then tell me why the majority of other arena streamers moved on to BG? Arena is a zombie mode with no real support from Blizzard

I do not follow streamers, I do watch daily hearthstone moments. I miss Day9, amaz and disguisedtoast in the contents.
Never heard of him until now, haha, sorry. :P

Dane is a legend, keeps this game going (wild)

I prefer BG /shrug
Haha, don't worry. I just wish there was more variety, no reason for streamers to stop playing Battlegrounds! XD

I got to recommend Chump. Guy creates his own decks all the time, trying all the angles

I watch mostly Roffle and Dane. For battlegrounds i stick to familiar streamer/s like Arumba.
