Due to the tremendous backslash received, Blizzard has flinched and backed up in less than 24h. We cant truly say for now how real it is, if its all a smokebomb facade or what would the finl consequences be. A similar situation ocurred to an asian player about a year ago due to his declarations about the Hong Kong- China situation, Blizzard banned him, but due to the negative reviews of the community readmited the player after a month.
What are you blabbering about? Blizzard didn't readmit Blitzchung after a month, they reduced his ban (which shouldn't have happened in the first place) to "just" 6 months rather than a year. They certainly didn't back down like they have for this guy and his wife, but I guess not being against winnie the pooh and his de facto dictatorship helps matters a lot.
As you could read in the latest post: https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/243368-breaking-news-blizzard-bans-savjz , Savjz was banned from Blizzard's future events in retailation for his wife's declarations.

the case gained publicity .... thats why blizzard "step back"
they are too afraid from repeating another "hong-kong drama"
Only thing worse than Blizz balance is their PR. New drama every month -_-
LMAO, so true... XD

Backing up because of all the protests against the decision. Imaging what is happening behind the scene when nobody is watching.
And still people think the game is not rigged.
We make our world significant through the courage of our questions and the depth of our answers.
They backed off banning a player due to bad publicity, so the programming must be rigged... Yeah... That's a reasonable leap.
