I have constructed a theory that Elise Starseeker hates her younger sister who has just been added in the new single player Adventure Trial by fire. Aranna Starseeker is the younger sister of Elise Starseeker, but things do seem off between by just from what we already know, so lets look at the evidence:
Disclaimer: This is for fun and based on evidence we know at the moment I could find, so take with a pinch of salt
1: Elise NEVER mentioned Aranna in The Year of the Dragon
First evidence comes from the story last year. Elise Starseeker was the main hero and head of the league of explorers, yet never once mentioned her sister in the whole year. We learnt alot about the other characters last year like Reno Jackson being a dragon, Sir Finley Mrrgglton loving all murlocs and wanting to befriend the plague of Murloc boss, HOWEVER we never learnt that Elise has any family, which comes across as a bit weird. card]Elise starseeker[/card] is a proud Night elf defending the world against the League of Evil where she may fail and Azeroth may fall, Yet shows more concern towards the League of explorers well being than her own family? Seems like weird not to call on or even mention her sister considering she might have never seen her again if Arch-Villain Rafaam won. Overall it seems like she almost is refusing to acknowledge her sister and her existence.
2: No references in game mentioning Elise being Aranna's sister
Second bit of evidence comes from all the interactions and Easter eggs we have in game. Alot of the heroes and cards talk to eachother in special interactions such as Brann Bronzebeard talking to his brother the warrior hero Magni Bronzebeard. However, none of the Elise Starseeker cards or heroes made any reference to her sister. You think If Illidan Stormrage is the mentor of Aranna Starseeker who is a a HUGE part of the Trial by fire adventure and an up coming demon hunter hero, Elise Starseeker may talk to Illidan as an easter egg about her little sister like a concerned big sister would? Nope, which shows again she is refusing to acknowledge her sister, maybe for a deeper reason.
3: Aranna Starseeker is a Demon hunter
This might be my biggest evidence why Elise Starseeker is not on good terms with her sister, as she is training to be a Demon hunter Elise Starseeker was revealed to be a druid and Aranna Starseeker a demon hunter which reminds me of two brother Malfurion and Illidan who hate eachother. Furthermore, Aranna Starseeker is described as crafty and going on a road of self discovery in the Blog post which makes me suggest she want's nothing to do with Elise Starseeker ort joining her with the League of explorers.
My theory is that there is some Beef or some family shamming, where Elise Starseeker has disowned Aranna Starseeker as her sister, where she refuses to talk about her and is no longer in contact.
It is just a fun theory I thought kind of made sense, what does people think?
Wait, maybe I didn't understand something, but I don't remember anything about Aranna being a new "skin". She will be a hero in battlegrounds and the new adventure, but will she be a new "skin" for Demon Hunter?

She will be in a new 20$ Bundle together with 20 packs

Oh cool, didn't know. But well 20 bucks is a bit too much for 20 packs and a skin, I have just bought Witcher 3 for around 9 dolars on Playstation store...
Elisa had a group of four sidekicks, three of which clearly became Rokara/Guff/Varden yet I don't think Elise will have interactions with them if they're opposite heroes either... and Aranna Starseeker is pretty clearly a member of that group too, notice the earring?
What would be interesting though is future interactions between Aranna (who returned in 2020) and her 3 classmates (who returned in 2021 and got a LOT more focus) especially since Aranna has finally gotten a minion card too in the expansion released this week:
her tourist version seems to resemble the more 'Night Elf' form we see at the start of Trial by Felfire, with less of the demonic features she gains by the end of it. I don't know if this means she was cured of the corruption, or if Perils in Paradise involves some time-hopping ?
Aranna being a demon hunter card who tourists for priest is a respectful nod to Elise who is a dual priest-druid character. Perhaps Aranna is on her way to become a dual demonhunter-priest ?

Ofc she hates her.. she's better looking and bigger boobs. Elise is a nerd.
What if they are a couple and one inherited the surname of her significant other?
I mean, its a matter of time R34 makes it happen.
OR Blizzard just recently made her up to have a new skin

As a general rule they all hate their brothers and sisters. It is a rule that all families have.
