I wonder if it's even mathematically possible to deal 30 dmg by turn 5 as DH, assuming the opponent is in any way interacting :D Even against someone who dc'ed it would require like a perfect hand and I have no intention on wasting my time to calculate if it's even doable.

It's the same as the thing he wrote about Druid. It's mathematically impossible for druid to ramp up 5 mana crystals by turn 3. Even if we assume that somehow they did double innervate + overgrowth on turn 2 and coin + overgrowth on turn 3, they would only have 7 mana and an empty hand, so I'm not really sure if that would be so good for them....
Everything he said were slight exaggerations, you don'y have to dissect to get his point. Nevertheless, it's a thread a bit on the rage side, so nothing that hasn't been said 1000 times already

Sure, I was just wondering if the DH scenario is possible. Btw. Hunter part is slightly incorrect as well, since most Hunters nowadays are either Highlander or Dragon - less aggressive decks, then, let's say DH or Zoo.

I can confirm that it is totally possible. Turn 1 Battlefiend, turn 2 beaming sidekick with no answer and turn 5 warglaves with things to hit and buff the battlefiend. Made me sad. Also on a side note, has Beaming Sidekick found the least flavourful home for a card ever?
You listed SIX classes with viable strategies. Hearthstone is currently a game about trying to achieve (and defend from) "OP" power spikes - which I would say IS fun.
Until recently Hearthstone was jokingly referred to "curvestone" (basically from Naxx to Secret Paladin days ... and a bit beyond) where you would play
zombie chow on 1, minibot on 2, muster for battle on 3, piloted shredded on 4, sludge belcher on 5, mysterious challenger on 6, Dr.Boom on 7"
Most of the viable decks were some variant of this. Curvestone is not nearly as interesting as trying to pull off your big power spike turn (or successfully defend from one).

But not impossible to ramp to 10 mana at turn three in wild
I know, I was exaggerating. But it was no irony, that the most fun (at least for me) is finding out how to beat those boring ridiculously OP decks (third one was resurrect priest) that have been poisoning wild meta since ages.

Paladin on coin can get both players to 10 mana on turn 3...
Druid: while you are un turn 3 they are in turn 8=fun
DH:Not even turn 5 n you are nearly dead
Warrior: one single card cleans all your field and provides them 20+ armor
Hunter: face face face face
Priest: concede to avoid 40 minutes games
Rogue: 0 mana cards + RNG
FUN
Glad to hear you're having fun. You should buy packs with money to show Blizzard what a good job they're doing.
Glad you dont know what irony is
r/woooosh

Assuming you play against an opponent that does nothing/can't do anything for 4 turns:
Turn 1: Battlefiend - Coin - Battlefiend - Twin Slice (1 damage)
Turn 2: Chaos Strike (8 damage - 9 total)
Turn 3: Satyr Overseer + Second Slice (9 damage - 18 total and 14 damage on board)
You can always go and play in wild against endless hordes of secret mages and cubelocks instead. That's where real fun begins:)
Hmm sounds like there’s a lot of viable decks. That does sound fun.
To understand properly replace fun with salt.
I will crush you!

If all classes are OP, neither of them is OP.
For your losses, you can go to the salt thread.
Exactly this.

Hey, we also have lots of other decks. Secret mage is the most major one yeah, but there aren't that many cube locks
