In game the Ashes out Outland adventure comes in 1 week and blizzard has said nothing, which is bizarre.
I understand Covid has delayed the adventure, but with 1 week before it is meant to come out according to in game knowledge blizzard has done no video ,no tweets, no blog post...nothing!
I mean we don't even know if its a classic adventure, dungeon run, New type, what the card backs are, is there a heroic mode or ANYTHING
As a huge lover of lore and single player content im surprised, anyone thinks this is a bit disappointing?
Thats fair, however Im talking to the people who enjoy single player content. I play all of it and maybe unlike you, It is my favorite game mode, so I am a bit disappointed it has been kind of neglected this time around/
Big BG update that they promised, Adventure and Seasonal event all are in roadmap for this expansion and yet Blizzard had said nothing about them. I don't know wtf they are planning.

I wouldn;t jump to any conclusions just yet. If the adventure comes out and there's been no PR campaign around it or anything, then you start having an argument. Right now, we're all just waiting and we might just get the normal release like we always have. Just later than anyone might have hoped for.
But, this whole expansion was done differently. Expansion announcement was kind of late. Card changes with New Year were kind of late. Card Reveals were stuffed into 1 condensed week, instead of the more usual 2 or 3 weeks. With all that in mind, maybe their plans for how to do this stuff has just seen a change, and it has nothing to do with Covid-19 or the recent Anti-Racism protests.
Maybe you are right, and maybe things got delayed, but, maybe not. Let's just wait till it;s actually released before commenting on how it was different than usual, or, if you want, disappointing.

From the preparation of some cards already embedded in the game data in last update, it seems they have the main theme of the story ready long ago. :P~~~
Since there will be no much new balancing issue this time (i suppose there will be no new cards added to standard pool), so the design can be much easier and become just ... "an artistic piece" for player to enjoy. This may be why not much PR resources are poured in.
So what is the purpose of this adventure? My thoughts is : they are the last adventure design material remnants that must be served to players, so they are the "closing chapter" of the adventure book. No more new adventure will be created in the foreseeable future. I remembered they mention stopping that sometime ago, isnt that right? ummm my memory does not serve me well.
Remember the road map of pheonix? Phase 2 will start soon. All phase 1 blocks are served as promised. The main spots unusual to each phase are the Spell Lock, and New Game Mode. These may be what the dev and artists are busy working on now. just my two cents. :P~~~

This is absolutely false. The only thing Blizzard announced was that all the PvE content (adventures and dungeons runs etc.) would be free this year. Nothing about stopping to make them.

I hope the adventure brings new cards, I am satisfied with 5 neutral cards but since the adventure is free it is highly unlikely that there will be new cards.
You have two months left to launch the adventure and the seasonal event to complete phase 1. I hope you are well because of all this situation that is happening. I have patience.
I think the reward was supposed to be Golden Kael'thas, and while the card is still good, it got nerfed and so is less compelling. Many hate it, and those that loved it don't do as much as before.
So they probably have to make another reward or something.

I don't think Blizzard would give everyone the same card twice...
To get back to the topic, I too would have liked to get some information by now. Even if it's just a message saying the adventure has been delayed, anything would be better than the complete silence we've had so far. I completely understand that COVID has caused a lot of problems and plans have been changed, but a few words about it from Blizzard would be nice. It's the uncertainty that's killing me.
I think there will be a bunch of new DH cards for everyone this adventure empowering archetypes that are not so strong right now like the Big Demon archetype...
I am more interested in when the big BGs update is coming, cause its gotten rather stale again. As I always suspected - the mode is great but it needs regular big changes. A new hero here and there isn't enough.
If they had new cards like previous expansion/adventure, there's no doubt in my mind they would take the advantage of marketing and promoting; however, since we know it's going to be completely free-- I doubt that will be the case and will just be a very, very casual adventure majority of us will only play once.
Ultimately, there's probably really nothing to promote a few weeks in advance with this adventure. (unless they throw a curve ball at us)

If it doesn't give me cards, gold, or dust it isn't worth my time.
Keymaster Alabaster come faster

Im suprised. I thought they announce something early this week.
Surprising that it was data mined a while back and we still don’t know anything

I think the big update was the dragon update in BG.
May be because of George Floyd incident. Many gaming companies have postponed their releases.
Why wouldn’t be COVID no George Floyd lol

It's spring 2020, with all that implies. I'm not reading too much into unexplained silences or delays in anything.
