If you are good at arena this is the best way. If not, buying a lot of packs is the best way to collect cards and dust
If he asks this question, I doubt he is.
I would say:
1. Get a cheap competitive deck (Demon Hunter is probably the best option).
2. Go to ladder to earn rewards for climbing.
3. Do quests in the meantime and buy packs.
There's really no "get rich quickly" scheme in HS.
I considered saying that it's not likely, but this is the best answer I got. BTW there is at get rich quickly scheme in HS. You just have to spend a lot of money on packs
Arena was a good way to earn gold if you were good at it, but it seems lately it’s more of a s..t show there, from what I’ve read on reddit today.
Otherwise , yeah all daylies, Tavernbrawl, and if you’re willing to spend a bit of money on HS, the starter package where you get a Legendary Dragon and 10 packs for 4.99 is certainly the best option.
Btw i would distance yourself from the idea of getting a lot of dust. The only time you really get quite some dust is when a rotation happens and you get dust+ disenchant a couple of cards that are in wild and not usable in standard anymore.
I would rather suggest to focus only on one - maximum- three classes. I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it saves you quite some dust and actually makes you better at the game.
buing backs, and dust the cards? sounds pretty expensive to me. I dust cards i have more than 2 of and goldcards i dont need. Ad HS_trash said i do belive the value in cards and its not much to get by creating dust of them other then leftovers. So, daylies it is? and packs/leftover cards?

I assume your goal is not just having piles of dust, but using it on cards. Because there is no fast way to get piles of dust, especially if you dont have a huge collection. The fastest way for a new player is to play the game. Clear quests, and climb the ladder. It will take a long time, but that is how it is when the game is as old as it is
There isn't a quick way to be honest, pretty much all of the advice already given is your best method but also be mindful of hall of fame and nerds. HoF in particular has allowed me to profit quite significantly. I will pre order the small bundle of am expansion, I think I've done this 5 times and if there's a good pack bundle deal on I'll buy that. Other than that I use gold to buy new expansion packs for a couple of weeks and then save it all until the next expansion so I can add to my pre order packs and this along with nerf/HoF (and I dust wild cards I don't have any interest in) has meant I built up around 35k dust before this expansion and I aim gin keep it above the 20k mark so I know I'll always be able to build at least a deck or 2 no matter what.
Don't know what you expected. It's a paid game after all, you either spend money or participate in a long grind. If there was other way, people would be less willing to spend money.

Don’t dust cards just because you got extras. Dust cards when you want to craft and sit on extras. You never know when nerfs will happen and you want the juicy full value not the fraction you get otherwise.
on the long run... dont disenchant any card... wait for them to be nerfed... that way you get (for example) 100 dust per rare card instead of 20, or even 800 gold for a golden rare card instead of 100...
but that means you have to keep all cards and more cards are not nerfed then the ones that are...

just do your dailys ..... and one advice from me ... never dust classic cards, they can always find a good place in feature expansions

True!
And smart.
Thank you guys and gals
Dailys, special events and dust nerfed cards, favourably golden ones.
And most importantly patience and wise investments. You have to keep your dust together in order to increase it.
Switching to wild is also much cheaper on the long run. But that depends on your attitude towards the format.
