This is just an opinion, but i feel like there has been a lull in content in Hearthstone. This year was hyped to be this super exciting year full of amazing content and the first 6 weeks has felt really quiet. Now Im not talking about the expansion, but My main focus is on the other game modes like single player, Brawls and Arena.
Basically no new Tavern Brawls:
Where is the Ashes of Outland card recipe brawl? Where is the brawliseum for outland? Where is just general new taven brawls every few weeks? I feel like the repeats of brawls have been just disappointing. The last 3 weeks have been repeated brawls and even the "Easter" event was just a copy of last years one with no brawls even close to show an Easter Outland edition.
No new events or news of any coming in the next few weeks:
Like hearthstone is amazing at making in game events, even its its just log on to get a golden card or something. We have had zero new events in hearthstone since the start of this new hearthstone year, not even an Easter one.
And NO NEW SINGLE PLAYER ADVENTURE??
This is the biggest issue I feel is really disappointing. This is just my Opinion But my interest of a new adventure or expansion always peaks within the first 6 weeks after the set is released. I love trying out new cards and trying to follow along the lore I may not understand, which is best done in the sets story. This single player adventure is the latest we have had one released EVER in Hearthstone after the expansion. Mostly within 5-6 weeks we have had news and have the single player mode to play around with. However, we are probs not even going to get the single player for another 3 weeks which means its been almost 10 weeks after the release of Outlands. By that time, I have already moved on to prepare for the expansion and the summer event in hearthstone and probs lost interest in most of the characters and story. For me its like releasing part 1 of a movie and then waiting 3 years for part 2 which is just too long. I will still enjoy playing it when it comes out, but from what we already know this is going to be a much smaller scale adventure with around 20 bosses and not even a dungeon run with 70+ bosses which will take alot less time to fully explore. I think the gap is too long and does ruin the Lore and story aspect alot.
Two factors come to mind. The pandemic which may have slowed progress in some areas, or all their available people are trying to sort out the balance issues.
I want to ask you a serious question, have you ever been satisfied by anything after it ceased to be new? No, because it's the nature of the human being.
Now you have a complaint about blizzard not being efficient in satisfying your needs for new entertainment, you have the right to do so. But atleast you should know you are not going to be satisfied ever this way.
And as I said you have the right to complain, but now what? If you want to make use of this"service" you do it. Otherwise do something else. But if you don't want to be in a situation, but still you stay in it, then there's something wrong

Yeah I do agree the Pandemic will slow things down and very understandably so, however new Brawls should have been made before then so not much of an excuse for not having 1 new Outland themed brawl like a Ashes of Outland card recipe brawl.
The balance changes have been amazing, but kind of shows the flaw of balance within the team when it takes 4 attempts to balance 1 class.

I think this is missing the point a bit, i am not complaining fully, but saying my opinion and comparing it to last years "Rise of Shadow Meta" where they did do these things. There was new brawls, new events and new single player within 6 weeks.
Im not sitting there saying "Blizzard is shit, fuck them, no new stuff, i want stuff now" im saying im disappointed and just getting my opinion out there for a discussion. in a way where people can disagree or can agree and see if people think there has been a gap.
Thats why the second most used word in my thing is Opinion where alot of complaints are delivered as facts. I think blizzard has produced an amazing lore expansion, but has not followed up alot in the last 6 weeks. I think i am allowed to express my opinion on a forum, even if you may not agree with it. saying i am not allowed to do this as it does nothing, might be true, but its an opinion and i should be allowed to express it.
Pandemic, bi-weekly balance patches for a new class, balancing the new game mode (bg).... They introduced a brand new game mode and a brand new class... Were in the middle of a pandemic where most of the world is operating at about 30% efficiency. How in the world would you expect them to release new solo content on time even without battlegrounds and the new class, I would expect the solo adventure to be a couple weeks late, because just like everything else, the Team 5 headquarters is off limits. Everyone is doing their best from home, and using video conferencing... They've been amazingly on top of balance patches in Play Mode, Battlegrounds and Arena compared to past years. I wouldn't fault them at all If they had to downright cancel the FREE solo adventure. Unfortunately companies work for profits, and T5 have to answer to the Blizzard Shareholders... The shareholders couldn't give a rat's ass about player enjoyment. As they shouldn't. They invest money, to make money, not so we can have fun with it. Team 5 do care about the game, but have to focus their resources according to the shareholders.
I can guarantee the Solo Adventure is at the bottom of the priority list.
