So I really wanna start playing again with my favourite class, Mage, but seems like every deck needs The Amazing Reno to be fully viable. Right now I am sitting on 1k gold and I have done none of the Descent of Dragons adventures because I was a returning player (unfortunately I didn't get one of the decks). My question is do I go on obtaining gold till I get to 2.800 (the gold for getting Reno) or do I keep gold for Packs,Arena e.t.c
If you say you really want to play mage, then I would save the gold... Doing quests and all you might get there in 2 or 3 weeks, and the card with be played for the next year. Buying 30 packs you might get 1 to 3 legendaries on average, and probably you are not going to play them, so you might as well get the one you want
The highlander deck is expensive tho, do you already have the highlander stuff? Otherwise spell mage seems also decent
Highlander Mage is really expensive, so make sure you have the other pieces already or can craft without really breaking yourself (unless you don't really care about any other stuff).
Spell Mage is maybe a Tier 3 deck at the moment, probably not worth to go for Reno just for it.
