Could you please screenshot and post the Wild tier list too?
It doesn't show the names ("other") but it's: Cube Warlock, Even Shaman, Odd Paladin, Aluneth Mage, Pirate Warrior, Odd Demon Hunter, Big Priest, Face Hunter, Jade Druid.
that doesn't make any sense to me. in their data reaper report highlander DH has literally no really good matchup and it's Tier 4. but on your screenshot it's the ~5th best deck. better than their so called "metaking" Enrage Warrior
in the wild data reaper report the best deck is odd DH and in your screen it's only ~6th or 7th

That's what the tier list shows. Maybe Highlander DH is rising in popularity, who knows.
I see a lot of Highlander Mage deck playing by "Pro" on tournaments, yet I feel the deck is very mediocre at best. Can someone help me explain why?
it has huge tempo swing and good control tools

Quest Warlock has tons of board clears, quite some healing and once the quest is complete, it can OTK combo pretty much any opponent, so apart from very fast aggro decks, shouldn't have any really bad matchups. As for Mage....the power of the Box I guess???
Could you tell me which particular cards that create the tempo Swing? When I played highlander mage, I spend most of the resources just to remove opponent thread. It seems to me that the only win condition on that deck is a good RNG box
DH is only so low since these retards are putting vulpera scoundrel in the non-highlander list and other stupid crap (even at 500 - 2k legend). The deck is far more powerful than the data would indicate because the lists are stupid. Most people arn't using the list VS recommends but stupid crap that wins anyway since the core cards of skill of guldan, warskill of azzinoth, skillboundadept, skilltyr overseer and skillbeam are still there. If you have those plus altruis it doesn't matter what other garbage you stick in the deck (obviously you need skillfiend and skillslice too).
Im not surprised about Hunterstone, however... Mage wtf? Quest Warlock wtf??
Quest warlock is almost unbeatable in the right hands. The thing is the deck is almost impossible to play correctly lol. Highlander mage is very strong. Skill box too good.
The data has been reset to show only data for the post-nerf patch. People are also experimenting with Paladin and Shaman around.
HL Mage being on top is not a surprise. It already did really well against Enrage Warrior, and now DH, a bad matchup, is nerfed. Priest, who were praying on Warriors, was also a decent matchup. It also goes even against Rogue. Mage only really suffers against Hunter (and still Aggro DH, but much less people are playing it).
HL Hunter was already the best performing deck, farming Priests preying on Warriors, while aso going at least even with Warrior itself. And since Mage rose, it was only expected it would be noticed and reactions would shift to prey on it with Hunter, with all variations.
HL DH isn't doing bad in a meta with Mage and HL Hunter being the top dogs. Those aren't super fast decks.
As for Warrior, people are experimenting with new decks and other classes, it's still the top deck around, though it's harder to play than HL Hunter, that's for sure, and Mage is far more beatable than Priest.
Quest Warlock was being played by several people (and streamers) at high legend for over a week. It's slowly tickling down, and it's an alternative to beat Priest with potential OTKs, and has as shit ton of healing and removal against DH/Warrior while also being able to pop off with Malygos for inevitable lethals.

Ah, I was worried that there won't be an opportunity to get the banhammer today :)
Not so sure about standard but the wild meta does seem correct from what I've experienced so far. Also, only two DH decks but so much whining and only one of them is in what I'd consider a good position. That seems off to me but ok.

This guy said everything I was going to say. Great post, man.
I'll add this with regards to HL Mage: I think it's just a matter of time before an aggro or tempo Demon Hunter is refined again, and HL Mage will see the bad match up return.
