Teron gorefiend otk mage deck with antiniodas and doubling the two mana 3/2 card which reduces cost of spells by one using khadgar.
Sounds like an interesting idea! I don’t mind otk decks as long as you’ve got to work for them and the deck has enough weaknesses to balance out the otk. I’m a big fan of MarkMcKz’s work.
I don't much follow mark but this happened vs me out of nowhere. I thought he would fatigue himself and the next thing he kept fireballing me for free. He also had the mage quest of what I can remeber. I also forget what he teron gorefiend ... I think the apprentice. It should be the apprentice. He maieved his antiniodas the turn before I believe. Man I forgot.
Hey also he maieved his own minion to khadgar later before two turns to make the combo easier . Damn i forgot the combo. It was a deck with tonnes of draw that's for sure.
I have been surprised (genuinely) by encountering Egg Warrior for the first time, but it was in the first few days of AoO when it was still considered a meme deck. Apart from this, I remember being surprised by Malygos Quest Warlock, but it also became a well know deck soon after. However, the main reason for this may be that I'm currently struggling between Diamon 2 and 1, where everyone just grinds with meta decks.
currently at legend wild, played alot vs diamond players. some decks that surprise me: reno rogue, cthun galakrond -forget the class-, libram odd pally, exodia quest mage, reno DH, aggro odd shaman, thief rogue
even some standard decks like enrage warrior are doing fine in wild ladder
one of my favourite decks is my shudderwock lockdown shaman. i dont run direct removal in the combo(statues and similar deathrattles could break my combo) but im using sergant saly + da undetekahh as a board clear. most people i play against dont understand how the combo works so they play minions and than trade into my shudderwock and then their board is gone.
Last two days, both opponents were on low legend rank, possibly fooling around with different decks after reaching legend?
Murloc Demon Hunter: Imagine the standard Neutral Murloc package paired with Battlefiend, Chaos Strike and a couple of other strong aggro DH cards. Less synergistic than Murloc Paladin, but equally lethal given how the hero power fits better and how the DH class cards are generally stronger than Paladin ones
Highlander Galakrond Warrior: That really took my by surprise when they dropped Zephrys;)
I lost to a guy who put Lorewalker Cho in his Libram Paladin deck. It was actually genius, he used Cho to fill up my hand with un-discounted Libram of Wisdoms, so I milled a card and then had to play some of the Librams before I could kill Cho. I messaged him afterwards to gush over how creative the idea was, even if it wasn't very competitive.

A guy who played some kind of weird elemental totem shaman which was just significantly worse than even shaman but far nicer to fight against.
Also a guy playing burgle rogue, I thought those had gone extinct, too.

I was in charge!! - Patches the Pirate
Right now I'm facing of against a highlander mage that runs Justicar Trueheart and Flame Lance (and a bunch of random secrets, like Vaporize and Frozen Clone)
I played against a spell damage OTK mage twice today.
I ran into a rogue deck that ran Fal'dorei Strider and aimed to bounce it a whole bunch, also today.
About a week ago, I met a bunch of mech mages.
I would guess that was me :)
no, but i'll surprise you with my octosari mill/OTK warlock
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
