When the devs anounced that the no duplication changes they also added that you could dissenchant a card you didn't want and not see it again while opening packs untill you've opened all other cards of that rarity.
I took this to mean that so long as you don't have all cards of a rarity from a set you are guarenteed to get one you don't own. However, after dissenchanting 2x Crimson Sigil Runner and Scavenger's Ingenuity I didn't receive all four copies back again with random rare in my next pack, but instead 4 random commons I already owned.
Is this
normal behaviour? that once all cards are marked as collected, "untill you've opened all other cards of that rarity" means that card choice becomes random (same as pre-change hs)
does this also mean that if I am missing 1 legendary from the classic set that I have previously dissenchanted (say Gruul) that I will never be guarenteed that card as my pack legendary?
special nerf period behaviour? that full refundable cards are temporarily exempt from being guarenteed drops untill their dust cost returns to normal after which time they will appear in the first pack I buy, despite being previously marked as "collected"
I'm sure the devs mentioned at somepoint there were rules in place to stop exploitation. Has anyone got experience opening packs with a full collection to know what normally happens or knows the official rules regarding this?
normal behaviour: yes: you collected all cards so cards will now be random
Define previously:
if it's before the no duplicate patch, you'll get the disenchanted legendary
if it's after the patch, you'll get a random one
no
The rule is exactly as you stated as the beginning of your post, you just don't read it right: you will not receive a card you disenchanted before having received all others of the same rarity doesn't mean you'll get it immediately after having all cards of that rarity. When you collected all cards of a rarity, you'll received random cards so you mayalso receive one you disenchanted but that would be a totally random result...
If you dust a card then you won't that card get from packs until you collect all cards of its rarity from its set and even after that it is a random chance.
It is normal behavior. It is explicitly stated that any card once owned and disenchanted will be flagged as 'owned' for duplicate protection purposes. This rule does not change even after you have a full (otherwise) collection. Therefore as far as the game is concerned, you have owned both copies of Scavenger's Ingenuity and since you have a full collection of Common cards from AoO, you are just as likely to open those as any other you already own.
U may recieve it again if u have all cards. But I have observed that u rarely get those cards again during nerf period . May be intentionally done by blizz.

The no duplicate rule applies to cards you HAVE NEVER OPENED BEFORE.
If you disenchant after receiving all copies from previous packs, you will not get those cards again for sure.

It works exactly as intended and explained previously.

This is the 3. nerf with the new system. Why are People still asking if you can exploit it after a nerf?

Once you open a card, even if you disenchanted,it still counts as "obtained" thus if you collected all commons and rare, they will be all random.
You cant exploit it
