@OP its not that Control doesn't have the tools, it's that true control doesn't exist in the standard meta ATM.
With 3 casino value decks in the meta and control just gets wrecked, because they ultimately get outvalued by infinite card creation and RNG.
Control uses tools to outlast their opponents win condition/value. When decks like Gala Rogue/Priest exist the control decks get outlasted. See the problem? 100% lose rate for a control deck against these deck types, since control cant win by temping out.
So with casino value decks being meta, the best way to win is to have fast agro decks. In comes DH with no control decks to contest it and GG. This is the current problem (if you see it that way) with the meta. The checks and balances have been removed.
It's not just the card draw, though it's huge that DH can constantly keep going while soon enough the control decks goes to top deck mode.
It's that they also have insane reach from hand.
Most aggro decks need to wait a turn to do damage with their minions. But DH has 8 damage from hand from Adept's battlecry, 10 from Metamorphosis, Kayn for 3 + whatever is on board, whatever bullshit they pull with Altruis, weapons to boost attack, Priestess ticks, etc.
Now since you have to keep answering turn after turn, inevitably something is gonna stick at least for a turn, so you add the damage of that to this reach and it eventually it adds up too much to bear, sometimes even with Artificer + big heal.
Enrage/egg warrior is actually even to slightly unfavoured vs HL hunter. That being said on the climb to legend it may be highly favoured. It might only start to even out at the 7k - 10k legend ranks and then become slightly favoured for the hunter around 2k - 3k.
That being said enrage warrior is such an unbelievably good deck in the hands of an amazing player it can feel so oppressive and so strong. And it is extremely strong.
Dh can easily be handled with control decks. But who will play a control deck when gala rogue and gala priest exists . So dh can easily thrive.
Which control deck? Control warrior is lucky to be 50/50 vs it.
Control warrior can play khargath prime.. bladestorm...brawl... Mummy...etc
Priests can play more control tools..
Paladin can really ruin there day if it plays it's control cards..
Shamans can ruin them by playing control..
But all these lose to the value decks..
But I don't think u will get my point here..
