I had like 10ish rares left and i got duplicates aswell, but only for those that i was missing, so atleast i got something, the rest is free dust, cant complain, if you really need the rare, buy the pack then,or wait until next month so that you can get the missing stuff (assuming you reach dia 10+ for the stuff)

Just hanging around, talking in my Morgan Freeman voice :D
This was one of my set of boxes, the other set was 2 more hecklebots and a conjurer's calling. I didn't think to screenshot it because it was the first boxes to open. That puts my total at 4 hecklebots, and 3 conjurer's calling. Given all these hecklebots, I feel like Blizz just trolled me.
The duplicate rule worked with the one time reward during the climb this month, all the classic card were the missing one. Why changed with the seasonal reward? I'm still missing rare cards and I got some duplicate.
How much gold do most FTP players have going into each expansion? I'm assuming most players should have recieved at least 30-45 packs from quest gold, pack giveaways and season rewards, so if you came into the expansion with 500 to 3000 gold, shouldn't most have all rares by now?
I'm 100% genuinely curious. I have nothing against FTP players at all... I'm just curious, because I spent my gold at expansion drop, and have 1900 gold now, and have opened at least 10 free packs... I also usually dont play more than quest completion, I know alot of people rack in 160 gold every day, which gets you 48 packs a month... That's not too shabby.

theres 70 rare so 50 packs should give you all since you will get 2 rares in many packs
Blizz remakes ladder. Players hate on the changes.
Blizz gives exponentially more rewards for laddering. Players whine about getting free stuff.
Business as usually for the entitled gamer.
I mean this seems to be unintended. Although not specifically said, seems counter intuitive that the 'no dupes' rule doesn't extend to other forms of random free cards (such as end of season rewards)

The no dupe rule applied specifically to packs. So no, it is an imagined expectation, entitlement.
I agree it would feel good but it's purely an assumption. This is like my child complaining they got two of the same present for their birthday rather than being happy that they have something they wanted that they didn't have before.

I'm not salting, or whining. It was an invitation to debate - I'm not alone, it Was expected to be otherwise, and another remarked it might not have been protected. OK, next. Not everyone's "entitled".

The packs some up to 25-30 on a not-much-time of a month and peaked at 37 this month, but it's THIS month, which included quarantine. holidays, and for the first time - the dup protection.
Maybe I got this wrong, but I'm not gonna buy classic just to fill up rares, when it's preferable to craft classic as they stay or HoF for full dust. Buying expansion is the same "bet" for epics and legs.

Probably should've realized the system would be bugged somewhere.
same to me.
same
It can give duplicates of cards you disenchanted at some point.
Did it say anywhere that card rewards were part of the no duplicate program? I thought it was just for pack openings.

Its a once a month thing. To NOT have it covered by dupe protection is just stingy.

I got 4 Mortal Strikes and 3 Ancient Mages. YUCK!
