I want to see you loosers to make anti-dh deck with shaman only. That heals you enough, makes better value then dh and has high winrate. If isnt broken then do the impossible.
One thing though with DH is it is keeping down some real cancer in the meta. Mage cheating out a 10 cost spell that either kills them or wins them the game is pretty dumb too.
Don't forget Zeddy plays at high legend. Everyone knows how to play the class very well there. If at the level of play DH is unstoppable, that is a major problem.
Because, in time, the players who are not high legend players (including me), will slowly start to learn how to master the class / current set of cards. And then the deck's win rate will only increase.
It is a broken class, with virtually no downsides. Either they need to nerf it - again (and not half-assed nerfs like last time) - or at least they should buff the garbage classes (Paladin, Shaman) to give the meta more diversity.
I don't know why they're so adverse to buffing cards more regularly. It's another easy way to try and achieve balance.
it might be off subject but if you have played shaman you would know it's so far from garbage in fact it's got some of the best decks to counter DH and res priest
He is right. Standard meta is unplayable unless you play DH or Rogue unless you are a masochist.
Beyond the DH issue the level of RNG is just absurd at this point. Listen in NL Hold'em you know you pocket aces can get cracked so you can deal when it happens. But playing someone to a standstill and they lay down DQ Alex and completely turn the game is just not fun. It was fun for a bit when the card came out, but its not healthy for the game.
I think HS being playable on mobile is only thing keeping me in it. That's a whole other thread - mobile limits the game's creative space.
Decks being build around the most powerful deck(s) IS how metagames function and form.
The class doesn't need a revamp. Maybe an additional nerf at best.
In a balanced meta the best decks get built around each other. When everything else gets built around a strong deck that stays constant, it's a sign the meta is warped by the strongest deck(s) being unbalanced.
I think what no one is talking about but it is alluded to is how good DH is when going first. On my stats playing a warrior deck with a high win rate vs DH I win ALOT when going first (the percentage is depending on the list I am using as high as 90%) but I struggle when going second. They just play too strongly when going first with their 0 mana spells, 1 mana hero power etc seems to catapult the win rate of the deck to the extreme.
Almost every single game is against a DH. Who wants to play in a meta like that?
I quit and I urge everyone else whos tired of this insane class to quit too until something is done.
Devs are braindead.
It's because they sold this new expansion on the arrival of a "fun" new class. I suspect they wonder if they hit it with another nerf could it cost them business in the future.
Of course, that it's ruined the game for much of the devoted playerbase seems to be lost on them.
Why can't this game has regular, almost weekly balance changes? Why not BUFFS and nerfs?

Well, none of "my" classes are viable ATM (I'm F2P), so I'm quitting for now too. It's also not fun to play either DH, either deck that counters him.
