So this is zeddys video on DH that pretty much states how its an unbeatable mess and how you have to specfically build certain decks with certain classes just to have a chance. People can try and defend DH all they want but the truth is its a broken class that needs a complete revamp. I think he makes several good points.
He never said it was unbeatable and unbeatable is the wrong word. But watch the video. Nerfing another card or two inst going to make a difference if everything about the class is broken. Look at the nerfs that have already been done, did it make a fucking difference?
I think Zeddy needs to completely revamp his own life first. Isn't he like 40 and still living with his mom?
Relevance? And btw whats the problem with that? We've seen famous rich athletes that live with their mom. Well its more like their mom lives with them but hey...
That was very wweird of u to say that and no importance at all for the point at hand
I look ar Hsreplay and in Standart there is a -2% to 2% and in wild a -1% to 1.5% higher chance to win with DH compared to the best other class since patch over all servers... Arena -5% to -15%.
This says to me: It is a little bit on the strong side in playmode and needs fine tuning not a revamp. In Arena the class is now by far the worst and needs buffs.
I know the class gives player with skill a better winrate in high tier... a good DH can beat almost anything, but Blizzard gives a shit about high Tier...

DH was the best class by far in Arena. It had a specific bucket nerf for arena. Thats why its bottom tier. Nothing to do with the cards as they were and still are top tier SPECIALLY for a mode like draft. Thing is they nerfed the buckets.
They should just make the cards more comparable. So priestess should be 8 mana and cannot attack (so like ragnaros firelord). Hero power should cost 2 not 1 and be 2 attack (comparable to rogue hero power) and change altruis to not deal damage to heroes (comparable to blade flurry). Further, skull of guldan should be made more comparable to farsight, although with a discount because of the outcast condition. Therefore, i would suggest making it cost 7 mana instead of 6 mana. Basically, my suggestions are not to nerf the deck into the ground but simply make it a bit slower. It may then encourage other iterations of the deck. Aggro DH and tempo DH arn't the only DH decks out there. Highlander DH isn't a bad deck, it just gets overshadowed by the other options.
Another think they could do is make the hero power cost two but only do one damage and one lifesteal. That would be more unique and consistent with how DH plays in heroes of the storm (which is consistent rather than burst damage with lifesteal).
The thing to remember is the fact that not only does DH have the highest winrate but it's also the most played class and therefore any mirror will automatically bring the overall winrate down. As it's always going to be 50% against itself it's winrate against other classes must obviously be higher than the winrates shown on HS replay as the overall average winrate. Anyone who played DH in arena before the micro-adjustments will know that you had to play pretty bad to get less than 9-12 wins as your deck only really lost to an insane priest deck or another demon hunter deck
I agree with some of his points that DH has access to cards that no other class has or will ever have access to but he really sounds like someone who is overly fed up with losing to a class he can't beat. I remember this is how i felt with odd rogue even though they do not compare with How busted some DH cards are i just remember bring that frustrated. They class does not need to be overhauled just tuned which is what will happen.
Don't forget Zeddy plays at high legend. Everyone knows how to play the class very well there. If at the level of play DH is unstoppable, that is a major problem.
Because, in time, the players who are not high legend players (including me), will slowly start to learn how to master the class / current set of cards. And then the deck's win rate will only increase.
It is a broken class, with virtually no downsides. Either they need to nerf it - again (and not half-assed nerfs like last time) - or at least they should buff the garbage classes (Paladin, Shaman) to give the meta more diversity.
I don't know why they're so adverse to buffing cards more regularly. It's another easy way to try and achieve balance.

Because it’s more profitable for Blizzard to sell you a new content with cards that indirectly buff the weak ones instead of buffing the cards they already sold you.
I don't watch Zeddy's stream because I find that he's often self-pitying and reproachful, but, credit where credit is due, he makes an excellent case that Demon Hunter is hurting the game in this video. He lays out the evidence thoroughly and convincingly analyses the problem. His best suggestion: make the hero power 2 Mana +2 attack. Now you have to work to fit it into your turn. Kudos.

DH isn't unbeatable.
Decks being build around the most powerful deck(s) IS how metagames function and form.
The class doesn't need a revamp. Maybe an additional nerf at best.

Nice ad hom. So that makes him wrong then? I like the points you made.
BLUCK FIZZARD.
Someone thumb that up. And repost everywhere.
You're a dick.
Spotted the insecure kid. Who hurt you? Come on, it's okay.

I mean he is right, if you look at Class Identity DH is amazing. You can try to beat DH a lot and accept defeat from other classes.

Google search: Is Hearthstone free to play?
I am able to reach rank 2 on 70% of classes, cept demon hunter - stuck at 5
so its fine,

I agree with Zeddy on every point. Enough of this non sense Blizzard, act and act fast.
I may not be an HS world champion but i'm top 5000 legend and I have ~66% win rate vs every other class. Wonder why DH is the only negative one... Mmm
