I have some left over coins from a previous purchase but it is not enough to buy the Outland series card packs (which came out a month ago around the same time)
Then I bought some Amazon coins to buy card packs a month ago using my credit card and through Amazon. (I refer to this as the 2nd time Amazon coin purchase) (and I think the purchase is made on Amazon App store on mobile)
The coins are credited and I managed to use my existing coins plus some of the new coins. And I never went into the amazon app store again after I bought the Outland series card packs.
Recently there is a new card pack offer and I decided to buy.
But to my frustration, I realised that I had 0 coins. (usually when u click buy through the Hearthstone game (download from Amazon app store), it will lead u to the Amazon web site and u can purchase the cards using the coins from the Amazon website.
So I decided to contact Amazon.
I had difficulty conversing with Amazon as I realised their Customer Service (CS) is mostly online.
So one of the CS representative said the reason why I cannot find the coins is because I supposedly bought the Amazon coins ( the 2nd time) under a DIFFERENT email linked to the Amazon account.
I was very surprised. I was truly not aware that I had 2 Amazon accounts.
Then the CS rep asked me if I would like to cancel my Amazon coin purchase order. And the full money will be refunded to me in the same way the payment was deducted. (i.e. the payment will be refunded to the credit card) - Though I do not know exactly how this is going to work. The way the CS rep explained is that whichever payment used will be the same method that is going to be refunded.
So I said ok. Please do the refund.
Then I received an email notification saying the refund has been carried out. But the details in the email say the purchase was sold by a "ACI" gift card company. I tried to do a search and this "ACI gift card" company is supposedly under Amazon.
But I called my local bank and they said they have not received any refund yet to my credit card.
I called them on the first day after the refund. (the CS rep said it takes typically 3-5 working days)
And today is the 3rd working day after the refund.
I am concerned if this refund is going to work out well.
I would also like to clarify if any one knows:
Lets say my heartthstone email is abc@email.com
And my Amazon app store email is 123@email.com
If I make my Amazon coin purchase using a different email from the hearthstone email, it AUTOMATICALLY means I will not get the coins? But if so, how do I managed to buy some card packs for Outland immediately after buying the Amazon coins??
And going forward, if I wish to buy future card packs using Amazon coins, must I make sure the Amazon App store email and the Hearthstone email is the SAME email before I purchase? I do not wish to go through this process of frustration and refunding again?? (and now I still do not know if my refund will be successful)
If anyone has knowledge or personal experience on the above Amazon coin purchase issue, please advise to me in this thread.
Also, if anyone has Blizzard's email that is RESPONSIVE, please send to me too.
I think I tried emailing to support@blizzard.com or something. No one replied till now.
I've had issues with amazon coins and hearthstone before. I don't think you've got anything to worry about. Just keep on at amazon CS if you've still not got your refund outside the agreed timescale (within reason) and they'll sort you out. They might be a giant corporate monster but I've never had anything but good service from them.

I think I tried emailing to support@blizzard.com or something. No one replied till now.
Advice and help greatly appreciated.
The refund may take up to 15 days to be shown on your card statement.
As for blizz, direct emails don't work. Create a ticket on the support site.
Also the email address doesn't matter, as long you're buying through your blizz account.
Maybe you created one without notice (a different letter, number or domain).
