From my experience from today mid-range/highlander is more dumb than aggro. Aggro at least was straightforward, live through aggression, stabilize (or not). But mid-range has the same stupid tools aggro has + more.
Priestess demands instant answer. But since it's hard to have board control in the early game vs DH, because of their crazy early tempo, you pretty much have to have out in hand. And what if they play 2 Priestess back to back? And Antaen - it clears the board at the beginning of their turn. So they can develop even more. You pretty much have to kill it from an empty board. Or be super ahead when it enters the field.
I preferred aggro much more, even though sometimes I was dead by turn 6, I knew how to play against them and had deck designated to beating them. It was almost like farming. Now board clears aren't enough, because I also have to have a hard removal.
You don't need a board if you play control, Immolation Aura, Chaos Nova, these are cards designed to counter aggro - and to have no minions on your side.
You misunderstood. I don't play DH, nor I want to. I mainly play Mage and I had a list which was perfoming well against Aggro DH. So now I started loosing to mid-range DH. And I can't even take my techs out, because aggro is still very viable and popular. At least earlier it was pretty much one deck to target, now it's 3-4 variants in the same class, all popular.

I somehow think Blizzard wanted to make Demon Hunter the most powerful class in this meta. In my opinion they wanted to add the first new class "with a boom", if you know what I mean.
Funny, because this is pretty much what I've played at the beginning, when I too wanted to try DH. Maybe 2-3 cards are different (I do not have Metamorphosis and I didn't play Furious Felfin). Out of all lists I picked the one with Questing Adventurer, because it stick out at least a little bit. Nice to see people are actually tweaking the lists a bit and not brainlessly playing the top list from hsreplay (which is all out face dh).
Have to agree with this... I didn't like the change myself, however, I played gala lock from D2 to legend last night post patch. The outcome: priest were dominate with RNG steal shinanigans, but my winrate against DH was 9/1 and carried me into legend.
My point, Sac nerf imho was uneeded. But the slight tempo loss the DH received across the board (specifically the early game damage) really helps other tempo decks get a chance to survive and establish. My 1 lose was a bad Mulligan against a perfect curve and was over t5. So DH can still blowout, but the likely hood of them pulling 30+ damage from hand on empty board through taunts has gone way down.
The problem is still the insane cheap draw and 0mana cards. Rogue was gutted for that exact reason. Now they give it to a new class... What?
Giving DH a 70% Winrate instead of his actual 53% shows how frustrated you are lol.
Warlock kept Aggro DH in check, it was the only bad matchup for DH. Now with the Sac pac nerf it's only getting worse. I don't see one bad matchup for Aggro DH, perhaps you can tell me one
that is not true. it has >50% against every other deck in the meta, the only bad matchup was control warlock, before the sac pac nerf. take a look at vicioussyndicate if you dont believe me. it's not like old times, where we qued with control warrior and we knew, we would most likely win against aggro. best case is 50:50 and that's just not like it should be

If Demon Hunter is so strong that Sac Pact (which is an ABSURD feast or famine card) is such an important tech card, they need to nerf Demon Hunter. Not keep Sac Pact as it is. Sac Pact working on enemy demons has always been a very, very strange interaction.
blizzard is nerfing Sac Pact in the most brutal way, only your own minions, while DH is already about 70% WR and every desperate player is playing it.
this nerf is gonna push fun out of the game really bad, assuming tempo decks are the most fun decks, and everyone is gonna play either DH or a control that Counters DH.
i think this dualism is gonna leave nothing fun in the game
id like to know your thoughts on this
"desperate " Can you tell more about that bullshit statment?
yes i can, diamond 5 to 1, a long queue of DH players who want to hit legend for the first and they play nothing but DH, DESPERATELY

M8, go look as hsreplay. DH is tied with two other classes for 4th at 50% winrate overall. The only decks with over 1k plays are 53% and 48% winrate. After that their play rates are too low to get accurate data.
I don't have hsreplay premium so I cant check Legend but in mid plat there was like one dh in my last eight matches. And even at Gold rank it's a Tier 2 deck now.
If you are still consistently losing against DH at this point you're either playing a deck that gets countered by it or you've reached the proper rank for your skill level.

man best performing Tempo DH is 70% right now, Sac Pact was keeping Priestess of Fury out of DH decks.
do you think nerfing the main tech card against a deck with 70% percent WR is a good idea? this WR is after netfs,
they literally buffed the most broken deck im game and statistics are showing it obviously,
its ok to play tge best deck but if hlaf of the meta is DH, there is an issue, the power lvl is not even close to be lucky or out-skill your opponent,
when a Tmpo deck can draw like a miracle deck without tempo-loss its a huge issue, it means you are gonna be threatened entire game and never gonna stabilize and lose in 70% of them.
this is issue
those who say DH WR is 55% dont understand that its combined percentage with rengo/big/midrange DH, its not tempo DH.
to sum it up there is no fight if you are tempo aggro deck against DH, you play control to win, and control is not what ppl enjoy

To early to be super sure but something between Rogue or Warrior. Even if DH will be Tier 1 it would not be like it was before what is super ok. No need to keep crying about it.
Probably the easiest Legend i have so far. The deck is stupidly strong, stable 70% WR (79W-34L) from Gold5, with average 8turns/6mins per game. 21-7 (66% WR) from Diamond 5 to Legend (41608 lol)

It's a bad nerf. Restricting to friendly minions on Sac Pact gives demon hunter more power, and it was already tier 1 and defining aggro.
