For some reason, I'm tend to have issues against Tempo DH while playing with exact same deck. I have a pretty high win percentage against all other classes, but for some reason I'm 5-12 in the last two days against Tempo DH.
So my questions are... and please don't just say that they are playing the deck better than I am...I'm looking for legit advice. What should be my goal against the DH when playing as one? Should I be fighting for board control or dealing as much damage to face as I can? Should I mulligan for different cards than I normally would, if so, which ones? Or should I play exactly as I play against other classes (obv with adjustments knowing what decks are coming) meaning that it could it just be bad luck that my record isn't so hot?
17 games is not big enough of a sample size. In the mirror, initiative can turn around pretty quickly and you have to adjust accordingly. For mulligan: Altruis and twin slices are essential in the mirror, because Altruis is your only boardclear and swing if you lost the board and twin slices are important for the often decisive trades in the first turns.
No offense, but maybe you just lacks skill? It's easy to beat other classes with DH, because he is just way stronger and can bully everyone. In mirror match you can't win by just mindlessly playing broken bs, because your enemy can do exactly the same thing. In such moments, skill is the most important factor, right next to RNG. What was your usual / best rank before AoO?
You win the match by controlling the board in the mirror. I played over 90 mirrors to get to legend between day 1 and 2. Controlling the board is the thing. In a lot of other matchups, you win by racing to the face. The mirror is different.

Thanks in advance.
