With the demon hunter in play and the games are short-lived, the only class that can play full control is a priest, but in reality it almost always beats demon hunters by reviving minions.
Not true. Warlock totally controls any DH type and higher rank you go less DH you see. DH still only farms noobs in lower ranks since last nerfs.
Having your current rank in forum signature should be mandatory on this forum so it would be clear who you talk to. I would bet my cat and dead grandma that most of those whiny losers are stuck at Gold rank. Ever see pro players/streamers at high rank whining or raging because of losses against any decks? Everybody loses some games but if your WR is > 55% then what's the problem?

What does all this have to do with what I said? It looks like you said it mad, it's just my opinion.
DH is just off the charts. Some of the cards are plain out rediculous. Like Kayne Sunfury for example. 3/5 stats and a legendary effect for 4 mana is good and nothing wrong with that. And on top of that, they gave it charge. The charge part is just too much.
DH has many cards like that, which just need a little tweaking down. But for the moment DH can do the most discusting combo's.
If you think it’s bad in standard you should see wild. Playing control anything is asking for a good whacking by the almighty tumor res priest, Baku demon hunter or darkest hour. can’t forget dumbfuck quest mage either but it’s going away soon

You realize Gold rank is still top 10% of players right lmao...
As for the constant Warlock shit, Gala lock is absolutely not control, how tf is a deck that wins on turn 7-8 control? How is a deck that just plays a bunch of 1/1s control? With only 3-4 cards over 5 mana? That's like saying Dude Paladin was control. It's an aggro deck.
Got to legend with Highlander Priest two days ago.
I agree that some of the great control decks like Warrior or Handlock are unplayable right now but saying that control is dead is just plain stupid. This game has seen far worse metas.

Galalock's not control? Dude, what are you on?
More than half of Galalock's deck is responsive / removal / AOE cards some of which have healing or card draw (Sac Pact, Mortal Coil, Plague of Flames, Rain of Fire, Nether Breath, Dark Skies, Crazed Netherwing) and support to the aforementioned cards (Moarg Artificier for the damage-based spells, Dragonblight Cultist for Plague. Devoted Maniac and Shield of Gala are also mostly defensive cards and used with Plague in emergency). They have about zero significant board presence before turn 5 or 6, the fact that they play small dudes for (defensive) utility doesnt make it aggro LOL. They also run Zephrys which is 99% of the time used as yet another board clear.
Rest of the deck is basically card draw and big win conditions. Some of them run BOTH classic Alex and Dragonqueen ffs. That's the definition of control. The fact that the Galakrond hero card only cost 7 (massively undercosted for what it does imho) doesn't make it aggro.
I think this player (answered by Ayala interview) hit the nail on the head with respect to current imbalances in meta/classes:
"with respect to class limitations and weaknesses, I think a trend is starting to reveal itself for those classes with "card draw" as a weakness/limitation: those classes have not got enough "strength" to overcome such a crippling weakness/limitation. Are there plans to push certain class strengths' harder? Or, better yet, loosening the limitations/weakness imposed on certain classes?
The card draw of top tier decks (tempo DH and spell druid) are insane. They routinely draw their entire deck by turn 10 in games when I try to play an control type deck. This inherently makes those decks more consistent. The classes that are relegated to the bottom of the tier list do not have strong enough answers from their "strengths" to offset their card draw weakness. Need to address this, but the incoming nerfs do not seem to touch on this.
People will always complain ... Remember dr Boom meta? People have been spamming ResidentSleeper in twitch and complaining here how boring control is...
I really dont know why you complaining. The last few expantions (More then a Year!!!) of hs were dominated by Control Decks and real aggro was a meme for several month. Im glad aggro is good again so i dont have to loose every Game vs control or Play boring 20 Minute Control vs Control Matches. Hs is and should be a fast Game. If you make the Games last for years because control is op hs will have much less player as you saw in the past few expantions. This exp is way better then the last 3 or 4 ones

Highlander mage is decent.
Rez Priest is annoying, but good.

Galalock is control but highlander decks are typical midrange. I dont know how some guys can call them control decks.

Just reached Legend in 2 evenings with Res Priest. Didn't even try, just played for fun.
I played rez priest from 5 to legend. It is a control deck, so is Gala lock. You can definately counter DH with warrior so your statement is wrong
Res Priest and Galakrond Warlock are Meta decks so Control proves to be still viable.
Its just about classes, not about "Control less viable".
Control Druid / Pala / Warrior and Shaman on the other hand are trash tier for a long while now, since Blizzard stopped caring about those classes.
card draw should not be a thing
Do you realize that he is not talking about bronze rank right
So wrong, Grab this deck https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1342108-crazypigeon-top-100-legend-spelldragon-priest
Hit legend with 65% win rate and 80% over DH and Locks
its probably alot more aggro in ranks lower than platinum as people are trying to rank fast
"control is dead" - okay bro
