so after like 13 matches, there has not been even single demon hunter but 4 of them has been priests.
I play on EU and hard stuck on rank 1-2 platinum (i think its called platinum).
Now classes differ between ranks and byfar priest feels like the most dominant class next to warlock and druid, after the dh fiasco, Priest and warlock has had a rise of popularity.
EVEN doe hsreplay shows that dh/warlock are the most dominant at this moment, for me it feels like to be more priest/warlock/druid heavy.
Funnily enough, all of those 3 classes that i mentioned are ANTI-DH.
Now it came to my question as a galagrond warlock player at this moment, what counters druids/warlocks and priests respectifully?
because the gimmick between these 3 are this.
DRUID: Overwhelm the board with treants and flies while cheating mana with the kelthelas.
PRIEST: control the board, resurrect, heal and generate cards.
WARLOCK: Fill the board with invoked imps and use them as ammo and healing while saving for the end game alextraza and zepherys.
I have no idea what deck would deal with these classes well. if you have any ideas, please share them.
That’s the problem. I mean not sure what everyone else’s thoughts are but I’m sick of seeing resurrect priest it’s been a thing for years now. It’s the most tilting thing to play against, even worse then their priest. To be fair most times I see priest I usually just concede because I cannot be bothered. Then again, it probably explains why I ain’t hit legend yet because I just get so fed up of the ladder and end up play casual or battlegrounds.

by far my only guess on beating priest is by playing rogue? if you think about, rogues can generate more then a priest and rogues have secrets and tons of spells but than again, rogues loose to allot of other decks
There is new architype of warrior, egg warrior, rising in popularity. I have also made bomb warrior and it has 100%wr so far vs DH, hunters and mages, also very good vs controll lock and any priest. I guess it will be very popular soon
The only deck that beats Demon Hunter is the Warlock and even then it is a coin flip only slightly favored. I use my own list. Simple but effective. Just now I went 75% against Druid (4 games), 80% against Priest (5 games) and 50% Warlock (2 games). Also a 100% against Demon Hunter (5 games) which is a very good reason I like it.
Druid in particular has no answer to a big Questing Adventurer early and you can sometimes fuck their plans with a timely Mana Burn just before their turn 4 (which prevents Overgrowth). Going all-in on Questing Adventurer against them works great, the perfect scenario would be with turn 3 Questing + Twin Slice + coin + Mana Burn (happened to me yesterday and it was insta-concede). You're not running big demons so no big Sact Pact value for Warlock, against him it seems mostly a matter of them drawing Dark Skies in time or not...
As for Priest, I have no clue. Everytime I win against them I feel like they drew badly rather than my deck performing well :/
i know this is dumb question but, does face hunter do enough damage fast enough before priest heals the damage.
I hit legend with face hunter 3 hours ago. Its easy to win against priests unless they drop khartus and ressurect them 2000times. Also slience can play a big Role but you still do good
Just played with Priest/Galakrond. Had 30 health + 5 armor and 2x khartut defender full health and reborn and 1x khartut defender with 1 healt and no reborn. Still got 30 damage face and next turn the rest 5.
IF Demon Hunter plays correctly I don't see Priest winning. The Khael'thas Sunstrider in combination with slice , Inner Demon and the 2 legendaries makes it broken. Skull of Guldan and that card draw DH has...

It's not just a matter of playing correctly. The amount of damage in the DH combo deck is finite.
If god forbid you have to let a Khartut / Convincing Infiltrator live for a turn and they start casting Grave Rune and Psyche Split, you can say goodbye to your Inner Demon face damage save for managing to drop Kayn on the same turn of the combo, which is not that easy. Not saying the matchup is in Priest's favor, but it's pretty even in my experience. It felt definitely in DH's favor pre-nerfs, but not anymore.
This of course is valid for the combo variant of DH. Tempo/aggro it's just a matter of how good your opening hand is vs how bad is Priest's.
edit: on second thought I've got 2 games in a row with combo DH vs Priest where I pulled Doomhammer from Zephyr, matchup is definitely easier in that case lol
Galakrond rogue full version not the highlander one, favored vs priests because lackey and value generation, favored vs warlocks because they spend too much slots in tech cards like pact and albatroz and vs druid you try to make the big Edwin fast as possible.
The advantage of this deck now is the major problem, face hunter, was pushed away from the meta by the priests.
I would say the best pick is either the Priest itself or Highlander Mage right now. Both are favored against DH. Both are more or less 50-50 against Warlock (with Mage being favored a bit and Priest being a bit worse, but both are very close to 50%). Both either beat (Priest) or not loose badly to (Mage) Druid.
Basically they seem to have the most consistent results against the current meta. There's no single deck that would beat all 4 top decks, because it would be in the top itself. Priest is the closest one.

Face hunter .

Face hunter has positive winrate vs warlock but loses to druid and priest. Hsreplay doesn't lie
Priest eats face huntard alive, one of the easiest match ups for it.

I just posted a Highlander Mage deck that I used to climb to legend with it (from Diamond 5) so if you want to try it here it is.
But to Diamond 5 I used Handlock to climb to there.

What Handlock mate?

Spell Druid and Galalock counter the midrange variants of DH - the ones running Raging Felscreamer, Priestess of Fury, sometimes Glaivebound Adept... haven't seen Imprisoned Antaen in a while.
However, in my experience, more aggressive DH list like this one https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/tempo-demon-hunter-1-legend-%e4%ba%89%e8%8c%82-outland/ do pretty well against them. Against Druid it's all a matter of doing as much damage as possible before his turn 8-9 (which will most likely be your turn 4 or 5 -_-) and finishing off with Kayn Sunfury (great card in this matchup because Ironbark and Gift of the Wild are just impossible to deal with otherwise) and Metamorphosis, sometimes Altruis the Outcast combos.

Sure.
Beating pretty much anyone (not always) except Big Druids and Shamans.

Life's to short to drink bad wine
Priest > DH, what now? Nothing changed, DH took face hunter's spot from last season - quick hype, quick fall. Then the nerfs, and RIP.
Play something else, there are good decks requiring skills out there. Wait till next expansion when DH gets more cards.
