So, for 7 or so years this card exists, doing the exact same thing, and is rarely if ever used. Finally, it finds a space against one class, and is now "the best card in all of hearthstone". God I love these forums.
I think they shouldn’t nerf or change it. Its a popular tech card for the current meta, and if the ladder was not full of Demon Hunters, i wouldn’t keep them in my decklist.
You can think of it if there was a murloc expansion and everybody was running murloc shamans, you could add a pair of Hungry Crabto your decklist right?
So the ability to kill any demon, any stats for 0 mana while also healing is balanced?? HELLO!!
Warlocks in Wild play it for Voidcaller.
So you see more balanced a 1 mana 3/4 that kills a enemy murloc? Cause I never seen any thread complaining about Hungry Crab

if there were two classes entirely based on murlocs
and one of them had 1 mana 3/4 that kills a murloc

More reasons to my point. They only release support for murlocs to shaman and paladin. Warlock does no play murlocs since vanilla. At least, if you play demon hunter, you know only warlock have this hard tech for you. If paladin murlocs become meta, you know all classes can screw you up with this card.

dude I am not talking about murloc support
I am talking about a class entirely based on murlocs
you do realize that most DH minions are demons right?
Different metas call for different balance changes. Right now we are in a heavily favored demon meta. So at this time sac pact is pretty op. Nerfing it to only kill friendly demons kinda fits the demon class more imo. Just my two cents on this.

And Warlocks too, and no one complained before DH appeared that in mirror matches they could have this counter. DH plays other minions that are not demons, and the demons they play clearly deserve nerfs, so for now Sacrificial Pact it's okay as it is.
Sacrificial Pac counters big demons much more than it counters little demons. It isn't enough to stop agro demon hunter but it makes control and midrange much less successful. I thinks it's okay right now but, if players want more varied Demon hunter decks in the future, it will eventually have to be nerfed/HoF.

not many people complained back then, because both players in mirror match could use that card right?
now one class can use it and other can't, so it creates massive disadvantage

And the other 8 classes have dissadvantage vs DH's busted cards, so can't complain at all.
This is the funniest thread I've ever seen. I'm sorry someone hit your 7 mana Ragnaros that can still hit face with a sac pact and made you get on this forum. Tech cards exist to put a dent in decks that are out of control like yours is. You think they're gonna get rid of it when there's a card that kills all secrets and a card that kills any murloc and gains stats for it? There's a card that literally wipes your opponent's entire armor and still leaves a 5/5 body. Deal with it or stop playing ladder.
every mechanic has counter at hs. When ppl played secret hunter you could destroy all secrets with flarr. And dats the point. Everything has to be countered.
As simple as, no, tech cards should exist. And this only confirms even more that people cries about the card that is been played more, years agoe sact pact wasnt more than a joke, But now with good demons getting destroyed by that card, people think now is the time to nerf it. Btw, the interaction with jaraxxus fits, sins he is a demon that you play from your hand, is not a hero card, what i would do is make jaraxxus a hero card instead with "Battlecry: Sets your hero's health in 15 and equip a 3/8 weapon"
It does strike me as unfair that only one class (warlock) has access to such an amazing tech card for this meta. I appreciate Zephyrs decks can use it too, but that still restricts it to only certain decks.
They should have printed a good, neutral tech card, similar to the Dragonmaw Poacher.
It seems crazy to me how a 0 mana cost spell with 5 heal can destroy any minion on the board.
It should only work on Friendly minions, that way Jaraxxus will see play in the Meta.
Why do retards think that Sac Pact is what's stopping Jaraxxus in the meta?
He's a terrible fucking 9 drop. He's a 0 armor hero card with no Battlecry when he activates that locks you at 15 health. He literally has two full turns of zero tempo. He's a terrible fucking card by every definition.
Oh, im sorry. Did I forget the 3/8 weapon he equips? Such a shame you cant use it, since he can't afford to take any face damage without outright losing the game.
Let's not bullshit ourselves. Anyone saying Sac Pact is affecting Jaraxxus is absolutely full of shit. They're just ******** Demon Hunters who burned all their mana on a Fury Mistress, and then the Warlock swung the game for 0 mana.
The solution is simple: stop fucking up in your DH/Warlock matchup. Sac Pact is a 0 mana 5 health vs literally EVERY deck except DH/Warlock. This card does NOT need a nerf.
Yep, Lord Jaraxxus is shit, didn't stand the test of time.
It’s sad. He was once always included in any control/hand lock variant. Shows how much power creep has grown.

You guys haven't been playing Warlock the past 3-4 months if you think Sac Pact is in the deck just because of Demon Hunters.
The extra 10 total heal was very useful to help stabilize against Hunters, Rogues and Gala Warriors.
It never left the deck, it's just that with Demon Hunter it's more useful than against other classes. And that's not a problem.

No, it's a perfect counter to annoying Demon Hunters.

Actually there is more cards pushing it back it's not hard to figure out but yeah, i get that sac pact can be scary for them.
Rock player:
Please Blizzard nerf papers.
Scissors are fine.

Also, more balance changes are coming confirmed by Dean Ayala already.
My bet is DH and Kael'thas.
