I have the feeling that this rotation did't lead to new creative decks. Not considering DH, I just meet old decks, like Rez Priest, (Em)BIG(gen) Druid, Face/Dragon Hunter and Galakrond Rogue... The only new Decks I see are All-Spell-Mage and Pure/Libram Pally.
Nobody seems to experiment with the Mage Prime or the Hunter Prime in an Beast Deck. There are no Teron Gorefiend shenanigans or a Tempo Priest deck. No Taunt Warrior Control deck...
I didn't experience any rotation before. Is this because everyone tries to climb the new ladder? Or is this just a biased experience in my MMR region (currently Gold 5, 3 Stars Bonus). Or is DH killing the experimentation phase?
there is also a secret/stealth rogue that seems to be doing pretty good...
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
After doing my research I found out that the pink 'stuff' that appeared onto hearthstone cards must, in fact, have been coronavirus. It has through hearthstone spread across the globe and infected all computers. And because too few people played hearthstone with plastic gloves on they got infected through their computer. Thus coronavirus is Hearthstone's fault and I expect a total of 3 packs from each expansion to be given to all coronavirus victims.
There will never be any creativity anymore but this has nothing to do with the rotation.
Creativity was gone when Blizzard decided to hand it over to streamers to play the expansions a few days before everyone else.
By the time the expansion actually launches, everything is already on YouTube, everyone knows what are the bad cards and the good decks, theorycrafting has already shifted to refining.
I put together a Malygos Druid deck using the new imprisoned minion, but I got my face smashed in by Demon Hunters one too many times and gave up on it. Unfortunately my pack openings were pretty bad so I don't have many interesting new cards to play with.

That and everybody goes to Hsreplays right away to get the numbers of what works and not. The community is very good at forming a metagame now!
What was the last late discovery archetype? Cubelock?
You can't claim lack of creativity until *bare minimum* 1 week in, but you really shouldn't until 2-3 weeks. Theres SO much experimenting going on that you're not getting in games with. The dust has to settle a bit, and people have to get their trial runs in wit hthe innkeeper or with friends who are homebrew friendly but also ladder oriented.
I got absolutely destroyed by some strange secret/beast hunter. It felt like luck but I feel like it could be a potent deck. Funnily enough anything that is new in the meta right now will be stuff that can beat DH... perhaps people feel that it isn't viable enough to be creative or they simply don't find enough cool interactions with the new cards that they like. I'm personally not a massive fan of a lot of the new druid cards that focus on spells/big spells/playing spell only druid, just dislike the play-style and feel that it shies away from what druid can/should be a bit too much. Was really hoping druid would take a cool, new and interesting direction this release..
Can't comment too much on the other classes cos I haven't seen anything but DH lol
Lol. You expected creativity? Zillax rotated and the new early game taunts on crap. Face hunter was going to go wild even had DH never been released. They didn't give new archetypes much support. Instead they released crap like Imprisoned Scrap Imp which overpowered already pre-established galakrond warlock as you can now dump out a hand of cheap, strong minions. You have Overgrowth which allows pre-established embiggon druid dump out all their big shit even earlier now. (I've fought a druid that had 9 mana while I only had 4). Rez priest didn't get anything new, but the fact that DH is running hog while and rez priest is a good counter has insured that it had a place.
Don't blame creativity, blame blizzard for releasing DH with multiple broken archetypes and giving already strong archetypes even more broken cards.

Creativity didnt die with me, but my winrate sure did!! LOL Had a nice 63% before the Rotation/Exapansion. Now its 43% cuz I make a deck and play it, EVERY TIME I get an idea! Im that guy trying out Bulwrk Control Warrior, or Murloc/dragon Paladfin, etc... etc...etc...
Losing sux, but being Diamond 5 , I csant go back and I can go to legend whenevr I want. Now, I want to experiment, try new things, and get VALUE for my pre order set!!!
There's also very few people that deckbuild (and play) well enough (or have the collection) to try a lot of stuff.
Watching some streams around I saw a Kael'thas Spell Power Druid that used the Augmerchant with spellpower on Kael, kept cloning it with Germination and finished opponents a la Malygos Druid style.
NoHandsGamer was playing just yesterday a ton of Egg Teron Warrior in top 10 Legend.
Some Spell Mage, Spell Druid with Exotics and the new Zoo Lock with Ebonlocke and Scrap Imps. Saw some Secret Rogues and Aggro Stealth going around too. I played myself Librarian Paladin.
Also, regarding OP, the power level of the cards that rotated was VERY low, specially Witchwood and Rastakhan, and except for Zilliax, there were very few cards that all the classes really relied upon. You're gonna see a much bigger shake up next year, for sure.
It definitely was a huge shakeup when Frozen Throne and Kobolds rotated, two very high power level expansions.

This is the only truth.
jk ofc.
This expansion is still fresh...Wait a bit, I'm pretty sure more interesting decks will pop up.
Btw dog tried to make some otk decks, but they are not really good

How you expect creativity in Hunter-loving society?
That is the case because the three rotated sets had a very low power level compared to the three Year of the Dragon sets

thank you :-)
What a stupid comment. I am not expecting creativity from you.

Diehard druid player ^~^
Check out my theorycrafted Blistering Rot
Wow, such an observation based on how much... 4 days of gameplay
I feel every deck I face is slightly different. Which is good a thing that not every deck is copy and paste off a claimed 85% winrate deck

Make your own then.
I'm diamond 5 playing exclusively homebrew decks. I'm just hoping the meta doesn't settle soon.
