After climbing from Bronze 10 to Diamond 5 (i played Dragon and Resurrect Priest) and playing 80% of the time against DH the new class seems just way too broken and extremly straight forward... the Class seems to be a Aggro/Tempo and Control deck at the same time with all the removal/face damage and the by far strongest card draw ! most of the DH´s i played against died because of fatigue while i had 10-/+ cards left.
i don´t understand how Blizzard thought printing so many broken cards for just one Class was fine...
What are ur expieriences so far with the new Class? This is not a rant i´m just curious about different opinions
So, let me get this straight. You climbed from Bronze 10....to Diamond 5....in 2 days....with most of your matches ending in fatigue?
Fatigue matches of HS usually take about 20 minutes. Now, DH draws their deck insanely fast so let's say fatigue matches against DH only take 12 minutes. Allowing for the fact that not all of your games will end in fatigue, I would say your average game length probably sits around 9 minutes.
To get from Bronze 10 to Diamond 5 I'm guessing you had to win around 60 games. Assuming a 75% win rate (which is insanely good) you would have to have played 80 games over the past 2 days. 80 games at 9 minutes a piece comes to 720 minutes which is 12 hours.
Dear god man are you playing 6 hours of HS a day? Go outside FFS. I mean, I know you're probably sheltering in place but...exercise maybe?
there is a quarantine for a reason you know, you cant just go outside man,are you living on earth?
You can complain about Demon Hunter, you can complain about Res Priest, but you cannot complain about Demon Hunter while playing Res Priest
So i can´t complain about a new broken Class because i play one of the strongest "counter" to DH even doe this Deck exists for many years already? i would take a Dragon/Highlander Priest over any Resurrect Preist all day but sadly these decks are less effective against DH... so what am i supposed to do when Priest is my favorite Class and i want to grind some Ranked games?

Social distancing is not the same as a quarantine. It's not against the law to go for a walk numbnuts.

No, it's not that you can't complain about Demon Hunter playing Res Priest because it's one of the best counters against it, but because Res Priest is generally one of the most hated decks to play against.
So you cannot complain about a deck being unfun to play against if you are playing a deck that's unfun to play against yourself.

I don't mind playing against DH. I think I have a 70-75 WR against them as highlander Priest. Won 4 out of 4 today pretty easy.
Do u mind sharing ur Highlander Priest deck? Also which DH deck did u struggle the most against?
I'd also like to see this please.
After a 2 expac hiatus, I am going to play a Highlander deck, as it is a style I have not played before, and I also got the mage freebie deck.
would like to see all of the options for this style of deck before committing dust. Also might get some packs next week, so having a handle on cards before then can help me pick which packs to buy.
I think highlander warrior is another possibility (highlander mage and demon hunter as well though) I will most likely get sick of just playing one style of deck though, so doubt I'll build them all.
Any predictions on which Highlander deck will be the one?
EDIT: pun none intended.
I can't take credit for the list. CasmX posted his list in another forum and I am using that - I have a fairly high winrate with it (no data, sorry).

My take is, I expected launch to be a New Class jamboree (that's why I'm returning). The crazy power level is a problem, but that doesn't mean DH archetypes wont require skill to pilot, especially in the mirror. Let's learn the ins and out, see the class get refined by pros this week, then complain at Blizz for the high power level. The last thing I'll do is play Res Priest.
Time and time again, the deck that requires the least skill, & is most dependent on nut draws... BIG PRIEST.

Res Priest is awesome. Slowly dragging the game to its inevitable conclusion all the while making the opponent think they have a chance. It’s beautiful. I also like the harder games where I’m nearly dead and somehow pull it back. It’s a great deck, the new Psyche Split is such a sweet card. Reliquary of Souls is great as well. I’d rather play Res Priest all day than any DH deck. Class has no appeal to me and even less now after they’ve infested the ladder since launch. I will play a few games with DH, three exactly so I can complete the quest but that’s about it. I’ll leave it alone until the hype has died down and the class is more reasonably balanced.
Pretty sure when people actually play against res priest with decks that cant win, they just rope down while playing a different game, or browsing Youtube or Reddit. More likely you're being trolled into wasting your own time, rather than the other way around.
Fine by me. I’ll take the win. Or they can concede and save themselves the time. I go into the game knowing it’s gonna be a long one so I’m ready to just hero power pass constantly. If opponents want to drag it out it’s their choice. What other people do doesn’t bother me.
After the nerfs i actually like playing against Demon Hunters. I’m playing right now as Reno Mage and the matches are intense, with far less bullshit moments. Demon Hunter is in a good spot atm. It is still very powerful, but fair. Great nerfs overall.
In Diamond 5 - Legend EU, there are was more druids and warlocks than demon hunters. Since the nerf, DH have no turn 5 anymore. It is very strong and will stay at least buttom tier 1, but it is counterable now.
When I win against DH I never feel like it was because I was better, simply because they were unlucky and got bad draws (given that 80% of their cards are pretty insane), while I also drew luckily. It doesn't really feel good to win against unless they are ahead and I make a crazy play. Definitely not fun to lose against because I usually feel like I'm doing all that I can do to stop it and I just get cleared and steamrolled regardless.
Tech cards in against DH have made it slightly more bearable given that I can guess 80% of their decks lol
