I know it's not a huge discovery, but as I was going through the data of HSreplay I found something very interesting. Actually Demon Hunter's 76% winrate is a trap! From my own experience as far (played around 30 games and almost all of them were against Demon Hunter) he is not actually as op. The reason DH has this 76% winrate in statistics is only because everyone is playing him and the majority of the games that or generally played in Hearthstone are mirrage matchups DH vs DH. So it's obvious that Demon Hunter is gonna win in a match like this. I have actually tried a lot of different decks and yes, it's true that DH counters a lot of decks, but you could say the same about many other classes.
i think you're right and wrong , right because it's less op that what people may think , but wrong because he is OP , at least some minions are (the on 6/7 that deal 6 damage at end of turn ) and his incredible way of drawing cards ... we will see
You do realize a DH mirror means a loss and win for DH, right? So every single mirror brings the winrate closer to 50/50. Now if there are so many mirror matches, yet the winrate is as high as 70%, it means DH pounds other classes 85-90% of the time. Sounds fair and balanced.
They will win, but also lose. If all would play DH then the winrate would be 50, so your theory is wrong.
wrong, if everyone was playing DH then the winrate of the Demon Hunter would be 100%, not 50%
Yes, that's also what I think. I mean if there is a Demon Hunter vs Demon Hunter match, Demon Hunter always wins :0, so if hypothetically every game in HS was a DH mirror matchup, DH would have 100% winrate.
this is mathematically nonsense isnt it? i mean look u have 100 games between dh's resulting in 100 wins and 100 loses in total?! am i missing something?
Genuinely can’t work out if this is a troll or if people are actually this clueless about basic stats. If 2 Demon Hunters play each other 1 wins and 1 loses. Demon Hunter as a class has played 2 matches in this mirror match. 1 win divided by 2 games = 50% win rate

nah, you are not missing anything

yes, so you'd have 100% winrate and 100% loserate
the way I was looking at it was that every game between two DH has been won by a Demon Hunter, thus 100% win rate :D
They will win, but also lose. If all would play DH then the winrate would be 50, so your theory is wrong.

go back to school my friends I gonna write this simple for you
in a mirror match demon hunter wins so 1-0 But yeah suprise in a mirror he also lose so thats 1-1 1-1 means 50%winrate
They will win, but also lose. If all would play DH then the winrate would be 50, so your theory is wrong.

That's not how winrates work. If there is a game between DH and DH then one wins and has a winrate for that game of 100%, and one loses and has a winrate of 0% for that game. If you average the two you get 50%.

Well, that may obviously be the case, I'm not an expert, I just wanted to write my own observations, but I may be wrong. However I am not wrong in saying that DH is not so op at he seems, because in a week or so people will get bored and eventually start experimenting with other classes. That's when a lot of anti-DH decks will arise.
Ah PS. To all of you guys I was just wrong, I am not a troll or retard ;)
I agree with you. It is too early to say since everybody is playing it.
As wild gamer (and it is not so played in wild) I can say that he is not as broken as Mage, priest and warlock. We will see.
Why does every retard think that statistics work this way?
If a demon hunter beats a demon hunter. The winrate is 50%. So it doesnt affect the winrate at all.
The winrate is from Demon Hunters against other classes. And insanely high playrates should push the winrate closer to 50%, not further away. That is unless the class is overpowered. In which case itll climb gradually.

It is still very OP.

Have only lost one game to other classes, and thats why it has such a high winrate. And that few play other classes.

They don't count mirror matches in the winrates on HSReplay.
