Balance is getting out of hand quite quickly and now the fact that you can't do anything against Demon Hunter has ruined it for me. 6 Games in a row, big demons, dropping bodies with effects like spells without any downside and insane value, 9/5 Rush into 5/9 Taunt for 8 Mana, yah alright lets give Paladins 1 mana Dormant that wakes up after 2 turns with an effect of a 2 mana minion. I get that they wanted to make people come back and play but this is horrible marketing. The saying "If you can't beat them, join them" is literally the only thing you can do right now. My question is how do cards like that pass testing, aren't they paying engineers to develop and balance the game?
I would appreciate anyone who has decent understanding of balance to elaborate on these cards:
This is worst balanced expansion in entire history of this game. I started miss old team, they did nothing with HS but maybe "doing nothing" is better than making things like this.
i was playing today with warlock galakrond control and i had easy wins against demon hunter, just made 7-1 and the one i lost it was because i made a greedy play
Is sungill in there on accident? If you get it out on exactly turn 1, yeah, it's really strong...two turns later, but still really strong. Demon hunter has 3 one drops that are better than sungill lul.
Blizzard had to make the Demon Hunter cards extremely powerful since they have far fewer options to choose from. They obviously went too far with these.
Unfortunately, the lack of cards also means that DH decklists are going to be optimized very quickly.

I was playing Libram Pure Paladin, I will try to move to a neutral type but the main problem is the value in the cards they play. Everything is too much and even if I reduce the cost of Libram of Hope to 3 (I did 2 games) they out value me with cards that are hard to take down and have stats with insane effects. Mind if I ask what type of deck your playing?
If everyone is making their decks around another then it’s clearly unbalanced. the issue is that the meta is “build against demon hunter”
You can build either build early to mid control or try to rush your opponent. Honestly my only real issue with the deck is obviously the aforementioned cards with max value with no risk. But above all is the draw three.... the deck has one of the strongest early of the not the strongest early game. Then If they get burnt out, They get a recycle with no tempo loss because guess what? They may all cost 0 mana. Hearthstone no longer feels like a card game but an arcade game were you mindlessly play the cards in your hand and rush face. Why play any other way.
How do you deal with them playing Imprisoned Antaen and then on the same turn it awakens, hitting you in the face with 10+ damage because of all the attack/weapon/face cards they have? I've been playing control Shaman, and I very regularly die from being at 15+ health and just getting destroyed in one turn.

There's your problem, pure pally is garbage right now, and also you're trying to base this off two games? Come tf on, you could lose two games to any class by RNG, that doesn't mean anything lmao
i control the board and hold sacrificial pact for imprisoned antaen sorry to say this but control shaman sucks, i also wish the class to be better but blizzard hate us it seems
The meta is shaping solely to counter DH, feels wrong enough. Too much card draw, there is no punishment to play all your cards recklessly once you top deck your outcasts. Minions like Battlefiend, Imprisioned Antaen, Priestess of Fury, Glavebound Adept and Altruis the Outcast are too overtuned. Spells like Skull of Gul'dan are also too overtuned, not to start about Aldrachi Warblades cost or durability.
Nerfs incoming in a week or two, even if other classes manage to rise against DH, no doubt.

It's no brainer that their card draw is insane, compared to their damage output. Do you remember the last time an aggro deck had insane card draw? Does divine favor ring a bell to you? Which has been HoFed. DH has some of the best card draw in the game, giving them insane tempo. And let's not speak about outcast which is so fucking easy to pull off for an insane effect. And on top of that scull of Gul'dan, Plus 2 huge ass demons spewing lazer all over your face and minions, better than fucking Ragnaros, which has also been HoFed.
Lol yeah let's wait for the meta to settle to state the fucking obvious.
Thing is it's not hard to put together that deck. There are a few variations with HL or control. Otherwise, just add Kobold Stickyfinger and an Acidic Swamp Ooze and they fizzle.
