I think they nerfed Skull of Gul'dan incorrectly. The problem is how much it reduces the costs of the cards it draws. Even if all it gave you was a 1 mana discount it'd still be pretty good.
Priestess of Fury is a lot of trouble too.
Priest has a nice match up against Demon Hunter in general, and in the lower tiers i've had a lot of success against Demon Hunter -- it just has so many tools to deal with these problems (while healing off the damage to keep themselves healthy) but I don't think that alone makes up for some of the overtuned stuff Demon Hunter has.
Having said that, I think this expansion overall is actually very balanced and feels really good. Some decks aren't great, but nothing feels like it's so bad it just doesn't make sense.
Tencent owning 5% of Blizzard stock means nothing. They aren't on the board of directors and get no say in how the games are developed or anything about how the company is run.
Blizzard's choices regarding China are a capitalist decision to appeal to the Chinese market because they're greedy fucks who want a wider sales reach, they have nothing to do with Tencent.
It's not so much that its op for me. I too have had many wins against it with big druid and gally warlock. For me it's just a rubbish class. I think the dormant mechanic is shockingly under thought for this class.I dont like playing it or playing against it. One after the other after the other. Its ruining the meta for me. I suppose if I where to add something positive at least its stealing some of the thunder from secret rogue. That deck is soooooo snoring. As soon as i clock that deck I concede

SinAscendent, where are you getting this information? “They aren’t on the board of directors and get no say in how the games are developed”. It sounds like your opinion and not a fact. On the other hand, it would make logical sense that if a company would own a part of a company, It would have some involvement in the product including development. Also, your comment “ the Chinese market because they’re greedy fks” is stereotypical and racist. Ultimately it is Blizzards choices as a whole company that wanted a “wider sales reach”. It is incorrect to say it has nothing to do with Tencent unless you have some valid proof or link to the comments you claim.
Balance is getting out of hand quite quickly and now the fact that you can't do anything against Demon Hunter has ruined it for me. 6 Games in a row, big demons, dropping bodies with effects like spells without any downside and insane value, 9/5 Rush into 5/9 Taunt for 8 Mana, yah alright lets give Paladins 1 mana Dormant that wakes up after 2 turns with an effect of a 2 mana minion. I get that they wanted to make people come back and play but this is horrible marketing. The saying "If you can't beat them, join them" is literally the only thing you can do right now. My question is how do cards like that pass testing, aren't they paying engineers to develop and balance the game?
I would appreciate anyone who has decent understanding of balance to elaborate on these cards:
If you ask our opinion I’ll give mine. #1 Priestess of Fury, make it into a battlecry and only target enemy minions. #2 Imprisoned Antaen, awaken effect attacks only enemy minions #3. Coilfang Warlord, increase mana by 1-2 up to 10. #4 imprisoned Sungill, I’m assuming you would like a buff since it is currently underwhelming? Give the minions rush or life steal or both.
