Maiev is overrated. I regret crafting her, but she will fit in a few decks still.
Warlock Legendaries are ALL save crafts imo.
Although Shaman feels weak as a class, Lady Vashj seems good.
Same for Hunter and Beastmaster Leoroxx.
All the rest looks a bit meh to me.
Maiev is a lethal enabler for all classes, that gets around Elusive. Go play against a Druid who drops Winged Guardian and then Dormant it to get 9 extra face damage and tell me she's bad again
Otherwise, Solarian is a 7 mana 7/7 with half of a Yogg box, Kargath is a 8 mana 10/10 rush and heal you for 10, Hanar is infinite value, Soul Mirror is a 7 mana board clear, and Evocation is a huge amount of free value with Kaelthas.
Zixor, Reliquary, and Lurker Below are all also good in specific situations, Zixor in a handbuff deck, Reliquary in a general buff deck, and Lurker against aggro
I crafted soul mirror. But I try to play Meme priest. So I kinda had to slot it in my Randuin wrynn deck. If you can go random. There is no one as great as randuin

Yeah, cuz the Big Druid is totally not gonna play huge creatures with taunt or assault after the Winged Guardian and he is totally taking 9 damage in the face.
Maiev is good when you are already winning and in a good spot, but against the wall of creatures that the Druid spawns is very meh

Maiev is definetly NOT new Ziliax based on her slightly above average Stats on HSReplay thus far, but it's a neccessary Minion for classes like Druid who are struggling with Hard Removal - at least shes a Pseudo one.
Where it gets more interesting is her place in Aggro decks who will use her as a replacement for Spellbreaker to get rid of Taunt, but you must remember that any Buffs are NOT disappearing after the Dormant period. I'd still say shes MUCH better than Spellbreaker for Aggro decks who only need to borrow some time.
Blizzard made another braindead decision with not moving Whizzbang to Classic. He was no threat for future card designs now, was he? That would be the ideal way to try out many different deck archetypes and kinda see what you dig the most. But I guess we can't have nice things.

How exactly is he going to play other creatures on your turn? He drops it on turn 6 or so, you drop Maiev on turn 7 and then you can hit him in the face with whatever you have on board instead of trading into it.
Or for the Highlander Mage deck I'm running it gets past Khartut. Or it stops an 8/8 from chunking your face next turn
It's a general use card that takes a threat out of the way long enough for you to gain an advantage. If she's useless, then Sap is useless, which it clearly is not.
Maiev Shadowsong is good because she is the cheapest single target removal for most classes. Although Mage and Shaman have considerably better spells: Polymorph and Hex, many classes actually really lack cheap removals. Demon Hunter has almost 0 removals so Maiev is a must-have in any DH deck. Maiev is generally a very good addition against Resurrect Priest and Big Druid, because they are very dependant on their taunt minions.

Maiev, nothing else. The only card I safely saw in a couple of decks.

Maiev, Kayn, Metamorphosis, Shadowjeweler, Akama, Reliquary of Souls, and Soul Mirror. So far...zero regrets on anything.

I'm just happy to have gotten the golden legendary I wanted: the 1/5 secret dude. You'd think I'd know his name at least but here we are.
Crafted two Councils and have regretted it. Not only is it inconsistent but is clunky and not enjoyable to play : /
I crafted All golden demon hunter cards. I dont regret it.
he asked what cards people crafted day one? read the question again
Maiev and Soul Mirror. Love them both

Sap is nowhere to be played nowadays.
Maiev is a good card, I would be happy to find her in a booster but I think I'll save my dust for now

TF are you talking about, both of the 58% winrate Galakrond rogue decks on HSreplay right now run 2x Sap...
Secret rogue doesn't run them because it doesn't have room, but Sap is a staple in rogue
