When they were shifting to the new duplicate protection rules, did they also increase the drop rates for legendaries (accidentally, perhaps)? I'm a F2P player and I got 4 legendaries in the 25 packs I bought with gold, which seems absurdly high.

No you are being lucky. There are poor folks who got 4 in 145 here.

I got 2 in 55 so no

3 in 78 packs.No.

got 2 in 18, seems like it lol

from 65 packs i got 5 legendaries and 2 of them were golden and im a f2p player

10 in 72.  That's just weird, if not  broken.

2 legendaries in 60 packs. F2play game as always... I see every expansion got lower drop rate for me

i opened 90 packs and get 4 legendary 2 days ago. today i get 3 in 16 packs

DUDE... 69 packs.. and only 3 legendaries???? WHAT THE HELL !!!! 

26 packs, only one legendary...

4 regular legendaries, 0 golden from 90 packs. Funny that I got 3 of them from the first 30 packs so I was like wow must be lucky today hah

I got 10 in 90 packs... i was kind of surprised to see that myself. looks like with the changes I have a decent about of the cards too. 

50 packs opened so far, just 2 legendaries... Neither of which I can use.  I wonder if you get lower drop rates for gold purchased packs. 

I got 3 in 90 packs. I think that is not lucky, but code programming. I have to use my +20k dust to craft all my cards in this expansion. Mercernaries! That's only my opinion.

 Maybe it's time to stop the rumor that says only $ paying players get good drop rates...

Some people have money, some people are lucky,... Some neither... Some both...
