i have seen their free offerings degrade over the past few months, but i guess they can do whatever they want, it's their product.
personally for me $5 per month is pretty steep for what they are offering. people say but it's only $5! Well yeah but there are so many alternatives I could better spend $5 on. Though I'm pretty frugal in this community where people like to brag about how much money they waste.
If you are not okay with not filtering for the ranks you are currently at despite sending games at that rank to HSreplays you should stop sending the games. If enough people do it they will have no more games to sell and will need to treat the people who offer them there games better by for instance allowing people to filter for the rank they have offered games for.
You can turn of some of the datasharing in the decktracker app under "options"(in the top right of the apps main window). If you don't trust that setting you can always just block the app in the firewall.
I can’t tell if Sherman is a troll or just dumb...
He is Sherman. Go an adventure in his post history, I promise a lot of amusement!
Sherman can't even stick to one Ava and one Signatur for as long as 1 week, that should tell the whole story...
Oh, another clueless hater enters the chat! Just because some of you don't like my persona (and don't worry, I don't like yours either ;)), doesn't mean you have the right to call me a fool or whatever similar thing cames to your mind. Many hearthpwners here enjoy my different signatures and avatars, which to be honest, makes me feel good. Different signatures and avatars can be used to send different messages to the rest of the forum (for example: some funny jokes) that wouldn't be allowed on posts and/or comments under any circumstancies. It's really funny how I have to explain something as simple as this. I always thought it was a pretty obvious thing, but well, for you, my Inzan1ty friend, definitely it was not.
So much ignorance on these two posts... It's ridiculous and almost shocking, and I'm not overreacting. :( Seriously, did you never heard about publicity, guys? Do you seriously believe people working at HSReplay.net do something for free?
Some people here live under a rock, there is no doubt about it.
So you made the business model for their webpage/services and came to the conclusion that publicity alone would make it profitable.
Thanks so much for sharing. Please don't send me the details. I'm not interested in their business plans.
WTF? I never said their entire business model was based on publicity alone. This thread wouldn't exist if that were the case.
Ok man, I was trying to make you understand that I wasn't talking about business model (including publicity revenues) and don't have the slightest interest in discussing it with you (or anybody else here). It is their webpage/business and they should be allowed to do whatever they want with it. You don't like it. Nobody forces you to buy their products so just go away.
I just stated that we live in a spoiled brats world. So many people have so much to say about what they "deserve"... It's just boring... and you came back at me for being an idiot not knowing the economics of the internet... Really??? I just wasn't talking about that...
Your answer to my first post here was neither useful neither nice... End of discussion for me
Ok, you're right, I was too harsh with you, sorry about that. And yeah, we live in a world of spoiled brats, that is 100% true, but we can't change that, at least not now... ;) Thanks to the internet and social networks, it is now very easy to spot the real nature of our despicable, parasitic and pathetic race called humanity. XD Of course, not everyone is like that, but so much people out there are so ridiculously self-centered for no real reason at all it's just crazy. :( Believe me, I hate them with passion! ;)
Its not like i dont want them to earn some money. But spending 5$ each month on an already expensive game is huge. They need to scale down the price a bit and maybe more people would subscribe.
Only losers can't afford $5 a month which is the price of one Big Mac or less than a pack of cigarettes. You can already afford a phone or a pc and broadband/mobile data plan unless you leech of your parents. $5 is nothing - if you want it then pay - simple. Claiming that $5 is "huge" is pathetic. I bet most people who say such things spend more on weed or cheap beer per week. Get a life you morons.

Hs may be expensive, but this is a product that you can choose to buy.... like cigarettes are expensive, and this is like a fancy container for cigarettes to keep them fresh for longer...

No one wants to have yet another random website with their card information and a recurring charge they have to remember to cancel. I never heard of hsreplay before i was googling if anyone is playing my deck or its just me and then they wont actually show me in info above gold. I mean dude gold and below you can just put together the exact cards in any of the in-game templates for a class and get to plat 10, thats what i did. I'm coming to this website for MORE than that and i don't want a subscription this is a one trip experience.

Holy mother of God.. I have never before seen such willful ignorance. Mate, not everyone lives in your precious little bubble thats called US. There are country's with much lower average income, you do realize that? Average pay where I'm from translates to ~300$. I've been F2P for a while, but recently (2 years) started buying cheaper preorders. I can barely do it without guilt since HS is my main hobby and now I have to pay for this stupid shit website? RU fuken keddin me.
They ask you to download the tool so you can give them your data.
In return they offer data combined from all the users they harvest, so you can make better deckcrafting decisions.
So now you wanna charge me to see it, whilst I still provide my data for free. No.

Depends on where you live. In my country for 5 bucks you can get freshly made mid-sized pizza. This is not a fortune, but you will probably agree with me that it's quite a lot, considering what you get in return.
I pay for Hsreplay and i can confirm: Bronze through Gold: most played deck has 50000 games. Diamond through Legend: most played Deck 250000 Games. Its the same in wild. I guess its because hsreplay gathers data through deck tracker, and when youre that tryhard youre probably diamond or getting there...
That's how the economy works. People create products there's a demand for and they charge money for it. Then they use that money to invest, pay rent, buy food etc.
I bet you've never had to work a fucking day in your life.
I think their business model is wrong unless they started to collect data from Blizzard you know just delete their deck trackers. there are other good trackers just use them so they will not be able to collect enough data to provide quality service.
it is okay for them to make money from their own products but if you lose the balance your business supposed to get punished and this kind of posts are here to provide that punishment. I think unreasonable ones are the people who defends the business owner without a good reasoning.

+ the bronze to gold is flowed with players just rushing over it with 10 wins so means this rank is useless

So you want them to fully provide their data for free while you can use their tracker for free and have some free data as well ?
Who's ignorant here ? What's the point for them to make such tracker and data bank if they don't make any money in return ? The usefulness of the tracker is the reason people use it in the first place..
Speaking in general terms, in lower ranks aggro decks will be more successful than in higher ranks, and control/combo decks will be more successful in higher ranks than in lower ranks. So (when playing at higher ranks/mmr) if you imagine that the winrates for aggro decks are a bit higher than normal, and the winrates for control decks are a bit lower than normal, you can make a decent judgement of the meta game.
If you also check other websites than hsreplay (I like hearthstonetopdecks), you can compare their opinions on different decks and see if that lines up with what hsreplay is telling you.
This is what I do, and along with your in-game experience I assume it would make anyone who goes through this process somewhat well-informed of the meta.
Though if you really care about it a lot you should probably cough up the 5 bucks a month. As stated by others, it's not an awful lot.

This is a risky move for HSreplay.
The quality of their free data has gone down a lot because of this change, and ultimately that is how you attract ad revenue and more paid users

Delete the tracker, delete the site, fuck em.

It’s 5 dollars a month and you don’t have to do it every month. I just do it after the expansion is out and the meta settles a little. Then cancel.
plus there are other options.
